Vampire teen, the true side

Hi, names Jonathan or Jon for short, this is my first story so enjoy

                                                                               Chapter 1

My face was dripping blood, it was my first kill, first time I've felt the need to. I look up and jump thirty feet up the nearest tree at the sight of my friend, Mike
"Bro, I thought you said you were a vampire, why are you eating a deer?" yelled and asked Mike
"No, I said i was a vamp, there's a big difference."I said as i jump down.
"And what's the difference?" he asks me.
"Well, when you are bitten you go through the 'transformation'. After that you have a choice to become either a vamp, who only eats animals,a vampire, who sucks human blood but only what they need, or a vampurge, the evil vampires who drain humans and kill them. But at one point, usually five years after the bite, you go through this thing called 'the purge' where you have to fully rain and kill a human."
"So, um, how long ago were you bitten?" Mike asked nervously.
"Let's just say i only have one week until i start the purge"
