Chapter 4

    I walk to the kitchen and fix me some breakfast. I eat alone just like i do every morning. Then i hear a knock at the door. I sense it is Mike so i open the door from the kitchen with my mind. (Being this close to the purge does have it's advantages.) I hear Mike yell at me, "Bro, you ready to go to the movie yet?"

   "Yeah, i guess. But it's only morning."

   "No it's not. It's 7:30 at night"

   Thoughts run through my head, how was it already this late? Was i really asleep that long? Is this another side effect of the purge? I hope this doesn't mean anything. I look at my watch to make sure he isn't lying. He's not. "Crap!" I yell, then i run to my room and get dressed and ready. We're out the door by 7:33.

   We walk across the street to Judy's house and find her sitting on her front porch waiting.

   "Hey," I go up to her and kiss her. I hear Mike make puking sounds and i cut the kiss short because my fangs for starting to show. "You ready?" I ask carefull to hide my fangs from her sight.

   "Yup," she gets up and we all walk to the movies. Judy and I decide to let Mike choose the movie. Not like we're gonna be paying attention to the movie anyway. Of course Mike chose to see 'The Smurfs.' Oh well, like i said, i wasn't gonna be paying attention to the movie. We go to the window and buy the tickets, I pay for Judy's of course. Then we go get our snacks, one huge thing of popcorn for all of us and two drinks, one for mike, and one for me and Judy to share. Then we walk into the theatre and find three empty seats. We were the only ones there. Weird seeing how the movie just came out yesterday. I guess its because Mike's so cheap he made us see the 2D one. Oh well.
