HAYES POV:
Melody's coach blew her whistle and Melody ran really fast. I kept watching her and she was really good. She ran so perfectly if that even makes sense. She was the first one to make it barely. Her coach said "Melody you have to run faster." Then I heard Melody say "I'm running as fast as I can." Then the coach said everybody get a 5 minute break. My coach said everybody can get off early. I went over to the track field and said to Melody "Hey I seen you run your really good." I seen her blush and I thought it was really cute. And I smiled. She told me "Thx and also your really good at football." I smiled and told her "why Thank You can I get a hug?" She said "No your to sweaty."
"Yeah so are you."
She said after her practice I can.
15 minutes later
"Can I get that hug now!!!!!"
"Sure."
I ran a gave her a big hug.
MELODY'S POV:
After practice he said to me "can I get that hug now!!!!!" I thought he forgot about it guess not. I told Hayes "Sure." He ran up to me and gave me a big hug. When I hugged him I felt safe in his arms. I asked him "Are you ready to go to Starbucks."
"Yep."We started walking and I see these two couple kissing up ahead and I didn't see them till we got kinda close and it was Luke and some girl. I walked up to him and started yelling at him."HOW COULD YOU I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!!!!WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!!" Luke said " I never loved you I was using you." With that I walked away. Then I started running trying to hold back my tears. I couldn't anymore and I started crying to where I couldn't see. I kept hearing Hayes yell my name and running after me. I couldn't run anymore so I just stopped. Hayes came up to me and gave me a big hug and I hugged him back crying into his chest. I told Hayes "we dated for a year and he goes and cheats on me with some other girl."
He whispered to me "It's ok he doesn't deserve you. If he can't see what an amazing,funny,pretty girl you are he's missing out." I told him "you really think so?" "I know so." And he smiled at me. I just hugged him back harder.
