Noelle's POV
They say 'walang forever'. It doesn't exist. Well, I couldn't really care any less, but... I am curious. What is forever?

Another day, another experience, another time to... I don't really know and frankly, I don't really seem to care. Basically, I wish I could have a breather from this thing called 'everyday'.
Oh! Sorry i forgot to introduce myself. Ako po si Noelle Grace Capriana. My last name is an italian word which means unclear. Ha! Just like me, i guess. It's not like my life sucks, in fact, my life is pretty good. I have friends, real ones, people I proudly call my family, grades that my parents can be proud of, and all the stories, mostly romance, to read.
Did I mention I love books?
"Noelle? Are you awake? It's almost six-thirty! Gising na, gising!" I hear nanay call me from downstairs. It's pretty rare for my parents to wake me up since usually we wake up on time or our helpers, who we basically consider family, wake us up.
"Opo! I'm awake na po." I hastily reply as i stand up. My younger sister stirs out of her sleep because of my movements. "Lisa, wake up. I'm going to take a bath first, but when I'm done, you have to follow okay?" I tell my sister, Lisa Marie Capriana.
"Mgmgmmmnnngggherehmhe" She tells me and I just shrug off the usual response.
"Okay. See you downstairs!" I say, grabbing my towel and heading straight to the bathroom. Usually, i wouldn't wake up right away, but since it's six-thir... forty now, plus it's... I'll tell you later. Right now, bathing is more important.

"Ah..." I sigh loudly in content. I just finished my bath and am changing while my other siblings are getting ready.
Now, to reintroduce myself, I'm Noelle Grace Capriana. Second child, first daughter of the Capriana household. Two brothers, isa kuya ko, the other younger, and one sister, Lisa who is the youngest. John Allen po yung kuya ko, Erwin Alexis ang younger, at si Lisa Marie is my sister. We are our mother's 'chokoolitz' as she fondly labels us. She is Alex Lency, doon ni kuya na kuha name niya, and my dad is John Vicente. We are a happy family of six with two helpers who are also siblings. Jean and Josie po pangngalan nila.
"Noelle... kain na!" I hear my older brother call.
"Yeah, coming." I reply, putting on my glasses, yes glasses, and bringing my bag down with me.
I sit down at the table as we pray for our food and eat. My mind is still wandering, as you can see, but my body is functioning on autopilot as I go through my daily routine.
"So... how do you guys think you'll do on your first day?" I hear my dad ask. Riiiiggghhhhtttt... I was going to tell you. Well, my family... kinda, sorta moved to Japan for my dad's work. We entered an international school though, so it's fine. I'm in my second year of highschool based on the country's curriculum and my kuya is starting college life.
It's a bit of a bother to have to change schools, learn the language, do processes, leave old friends, close ones too and start with new people ALL over again, but... that's just life.
"Ah. I think we'll do just fine." Allen replies to him.
"Yeah. We'll be alright." Erwin continues, as Lisa nods her head in agreement. "We can get by..." He trails off and turns his gaze to me.
"What." I ask him a bit irritated as I guess what he would assume.
"Nothing, just wondering if you'll be alright considering you're so shy when it comes to people your age and older." He gives me a smile.
"I'll be..." It's not like I'm anti-social or anything... I just... I can get insecure at times. "...Fine." I tell him with a mock glare.
"Ok." He holds his hands in front of him in defense to show he doesn't mean any harm.

We crowd out of our car as we're dropped off at school. The four of us are going our separate ways now. My younger siblings to the middleschool, and me to the highschool and my brother to the college campus nearby. Being the only one in Highschool will be tough for me. I hope I survive.
"Bye! Take care you guys." I tell everyone as we all part ways. I walk up to the main building and take in a deep breath. Here goes nothing. I open the door and see that most students are already filing into their classrooms. I need to get to the administration office-or something- first to get documents and stuff.
"Ugh. Transferring is so hard." I complain as I look down to avoid other students' gazes. I round a corner and-
"O-ouch..." I say, though I'm not really hurt at all. Though... something feels missi- "My glasses!" I exclaim, looking around for the item.
"I'm so sorry." A hand holds out the sought out thing.
"Thank you." I wear them, not bothering to look up first, but meeting the... culprit's? gaze, I swallow thickly. "Th-Thank you." I repeat stupidly. Wait. I'm supposed to be calm, collected, aloof and... insecure. Looking at the sorry guy in front of me I sigh. He holds his hand out and I accept the gesture as he pulls me to my feet.
"Thanks and sorry for bumping into you." I laugh half-heartedly.
"It's fine, I should be the one to say that. Are you alright?" His eyes wander over my figure to check if I am indeed fine as I claim.
"Yes I'm fine, Thanks. Anyways,"I look around and see the clock and fewer students. "I think you should really get to class." I laugh at his shocked expression as he hurriedly fixes himself and starts to run. I know I'll regret this, but...
"Noelle!" I yell at his retreating figure. He stops and turns around, at first surprised, but then grins bashfully.
"Jonathan." He then takes off again, running.
What did I just do?! Well, I guess it's best to head to my destination and... say goodbye for now.
And before I forget,
Welcome to my thoughts, stranger.

A/N: That was... kind of embarrassing. Did you like it guys? Did you not? Please comment, follow, whatever there is to do, if you please. I'd really appreciate the support. Creative criticism is welcomed especially with my lack of experience. This is only the prologue, so the actual chapters might turn out longer. Anyways, thank you for reading and see you again next time, stranger.
