The morning today was dull and cloudy, as the sky was missing behind a layer of soft, fluffy gray clouds. The very reason, I was slothful and felt a strong urge to snuggle deep in my comforter.

When my eyes finally fluttered open, I was already running late.

First, the alarm didn't go off.
Second, I was still half dazed.
Third, my clothes were soo perfectly unorganized that, the jacket I wanted to wear was no where to be seen.
Fourth, the weather was like, a mourning one.

If I didn't hurry any time soon, I would end up being late, on my very second day of school.

Woww!! What a great start. I thought to myself, while settling on a simple jeans and cardigan, with a pair of converse and pulling my hair into a pony.

Though it seemed like, I was off on the wrong foot, there was something I looked forward to.

It was, catching up with Serena and gang, hanging around the cafe, and having loads of fun.

The new academic year would also begin today, I better hurry up, I was muttering to myself, at the same time getting all the stuffs together, when my phone went off.

Who would be calling me right now? I mean, I sure had exchanged numbers with Serena, Zach and rest of the group, but wasn't expecting a call from either of them at this very instant.

Confirming to my suspicion, the caller Id displayed an unknown number. I picked up the call, with a frown on my face.

"Hey babe, so wanna do it today? How much are you going to cost for 2 hours? You better come off, wearing sparkling red dress, lipstick, heels and everything", the person on the other side, said with a thick accent.

"What the heck? Who do you think you are? ", I replied, totally annoyed and the frown on my face increasing from the very instance.

"Are you deaf?", His reply came off rather rudely.

"Wrong number. ", I answered through gritted teeth, and cut the call, but not before, hearing him curse, "What a waste of time" on the other end.

Woah!! Just what was required to piss me off. Not that I wasn't already.

This call irritated the heck out of me, but I fought back the urge to call him, and yell till his ears got sore.

I had better things to worry about. Like, as of now, School.

Breakfast was skipped in the rush and in order to make it on time to class.
I locked the room well, took my bag and hired a cab to Westwood.

There were 30 more minutes left before the school started. Good enough.

I really, like really need to stop taking cabs, should find a decent job and a room for rent, as soon as possible. Now, that I've decided to make it through, on my own, I couldn't afford extravagant life.

Lots of things were going on in my head, when the phone started ringing again. I jumped at the sudden vibration, before picking it up.

To my surprise, it was an unknown number as well.
