Picture of Heath

Fiona POV

I got up out of bed and skipped into the bathroom. I don't know why I'm so happy this morning. I showered and brushed my teeth.

I changed into yellow skinny jeans, a black, sleeveless shirt with the batman symbol on the boobs and it knots up in the front so it's showing off a little skin; black, white, and yellow Jordans.

I straightened my hair.

I grabbed my bag and bounced downstairs.

"Someone's in a happy mood." Ari  commented.

I just shrugged and sat down at the table.

"Are you riding with Josiah?" Ari asked.

"Nope, Heath's picking me up." I said and instantly regretted it because both mom and dad's head popped up so fast their necks should've broke.

"Whose Heath?" Mom asks sitting down and grinning at me like she was a teenage girl again.

"A friend I met yesterday." I said.

"And he's picking you up?" Dad asked with a twitching eye.

Why must every parent have a twitchy eye?

"Yes, he's just being nice and besides he already has a girlfriend." I pointed out.

"Okay, good." Dad says going back to his paper.

"You know she can just be saying that as a cover up so we don't mention him anymore." Mom smirks at me. I just roll my eyes.

Just then I saw Heath's car outside. I got slowly from the table and made my way to the door.

"Hey." Heath smiles at me.

"Hi." I smiled back.

"So did you make any friends yesterday?" He asks.

"Yeah." I mumbled looking back at the house to see mom and dad in the window.

"Are you going to come to my football game tonight?" He asks looking over at me.

"You have a game tonight?" I questioned.

"Yeah, so are you going to come?" He asks.

"I don't know I'll think about it." I shrugged.

"Well if you do it's at seven and tickets are only 5 dollars." He sighs.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Well my coach says this can be the last game I play if I don't get my grades up." He clenches the wheel.

"So you need a tutor?" I questioned.

He nods.

"What are you failing?" I questioned.

"Calculus." He says.

"Well I've always been good in calculus, I can tutor you." I offered.

"Really?' He looks at me with a questioning look.

"Yeah, if you want my help." I said.

"Yes, how about everyday after school at my house?" He says. "I can't do today because of the game but tomorrow definitely." He smiles at me.

We get to school and this redhead angrily starts stumping over towards us.

That must be Tracy, Bethany warned me about her.
