Forgiveness project (Thanks Disney!)

Riley POV

Today Lucas comeback it has been 3 days since I last saw him and now he is coming back. I am excited but also super nervous what will happen between us I still don't know if I am willing to take the risk.
M: hey Riles
R: hi
M: are we gonna head to history or what
R: sure but first we need to talk. I said biting my lip
M: okay
R: I kissed Lucas
M: shut up! She said sarcastically
R: you knew?
M: saw the whole thing but is it worth taking the risk
R: that's exactly what I am asking myself I said bowing my head down. I am so confused Maya I mean I really like him but he might hurt me again.
M: let's see what Matthews has planned today. I am sure it revolves around you.
R:yup you are probably right
We walked in and Lucas was not there odd he comes back today.
C: today we are going to start the forgiveness project
Maya looked at me and I looked at her she was spot on. Maya started writing ad everyone else except me.
M: Riles she groaned. come on it is about time.
R: no
M: yes
R:no
M: no yes
R:yes. Hey I said pointing at her you tricked me she laughed. "Fine" I grumbled.

Dear Lucas,
I have not forgot what you did to me in 8th grade but I forgive you. I know what happened between us at the hospital and I will forgive you if you promise to never hurt me again.

*flash back*

R: hey Luc-
Why is he kissing Missy. I went and tapped him on the shoulder
L: five more minuets he moaned Missy laughed
R: hey um we are done Lucas Friar
Then he turned around.
L: Riley I can explain
R: you can but I won't let you go explain to Missy. You know the girl you cheat on me with. I can't believe I ever trusted you forget liked you. I ran away crying as Lucas just stared at me running not bothering to fix anything.
*end of flashback*
A tear rolled down my face then I heard
"Sorry I'm late sir" It was Lucas. He sat down and I passed him the note.
Lucas POV
Riley looks so cute right now. Then she passed me a note I read it and remembered everything. I raised my hand
L: mr.Matthews may I talk to Riley out side please.
C: *looks at Riley* she nods
C: yes you may mr.friar
We both got up and walked outside
L: Riley. Thank you for forgiving me I know that took a lot of effort and I promise I will never hurt you again.
R: your welcome. You read the note and you promised but I don't know if I can risk us again.
She put her head down and I picked her chin up with my finger so she could look at me. I got lost into those chocolate brown eyes then I snapped back to reality.
L: I hung out with the wrong group of people at the time and I am really sorry and I want you to be mine again. So will you?
R: can I have time to think she asked sincerely
L: yes as much time as you need
We walked back inside now and continued to learn after class she walked out with Maya and I grabbed her by the arm and told her to meet me at Central Park at 4:00 she nodded and then I let her go and went to my next class.
