First Arc-Chapter 4

She leant towards him and kissed his lips. He looked astonished at her. Then he kissed her back. Milena slowly wrapped an arm around his neck and pulled him closer to her. He held her face with his left hand. The other arm he wrapped around her. Rosalind laid her head against Coulson's shoulder. They were standing outside the ICU room. It had windows that showed the inside, but you can't look through them from the inside. Coulson rest his head on hers. "It's nice to see her happy", he said smiling. She looked up to him. "Yes. After all what happened I'm happy for her", she said smiling. "He's a nice boy, so there is nothing I should worry about", he said smiling. Then they went back to the living area. Milena let go off David and looked at him. "For what was this kiss?", he asked her blushing. "I don't know. Maybe I just didn't find the right words", she said blushing. He took her face and kissed her again. She wrapped her arm around him and kissed him back. "Sometimes there are no words to say, am I right?", he said smiling. She rested her head on his shoulder and looked up into his eyes. She felt save when he was around. He took her hand softly and put it into his. "Do you know when you're allowed to leave?", he asked. She shook her head. "I don't know. I woke up last night and they didn't tell me much since then. My parents didn't tell me either what was going on, but they seemed happy to see me awake again", she said smiling softly. "You were unconscious for almost three days, sure that they were happy to see you alive again. I wanted to stay at your side too, but your mum always send me away...", he said looking down. "Don't be sad, I can understand her. You would be that nervous too when your kids life is in danger". Simmons and Coulson came into the room and looked at them. "Hello Milena, how you're feeling?", she asked her. She smiled when she saw David and Milena holding each others hands. "Feeling better... Well, I can breathe on my own again. And the pain starts to go away", Milena said smiling. "That's good. You maybe can leave the ICU tomorrow. You won't be able to go back into field for a long time now. Your shoulder was shot and almost totally disabled, your leg and rip is still broken. That will take time to heal and after it healed you need to start training slowly again", Simmons said, looking at the medical report. Milena nodded. "Thank you Simmons", she said smiling softly. Coulson looked at them. "You can, if you want, join the lab team until you're ready to go back into field. When you're ready to go back into field you're free to go. But, before you can go there you have to go through several tests, held by different agents from the team. So I give you the chance to heal and then show that you're ready", he said. Milena smiled. "Thank you dad". "David, you should get some sleep. We need you back into lab soon", Simmons said. David nodded. "Alright mum", he said and kissed Milena's cheek. "See you later", he said and left with Simmons. "Please don't kill him", Milena said worried, looking into her fathers eyes. He sat down on her bed and laughed. "Why should I be mad about the fact that you're in love? If I kill him I'll kill you instead, so I won't harm him", he said smiling. Milena looked at him. "Wait, who are you and what did you do to my dad? You would never be that calm!", she said confused. "I think I have to accept that you'll fall in love... You always will be my baby girl. It's hard to let go off something you love", he said smiling. She hugged him with her heal arm. "Thank you dad... But, why did you hurt Jack then?", she asked laughing. "Well, because he's an idiot like his father. And I don't like him", he said looking at her. "You know that he's now together with Liam? Never thought of that". He looked confused at her. "Wait, we're talking about the same Liam?". She nodded and smiled. "Never thought of that too...". They talked for a while until a doctor came in and told Coulson to leave because Milena had to get some sleep. Coulson hugged her and kissed her forehead. "See you soon Milly", he said and left the room. Milena slowly laid down and fell asleep.

"Why should I trust you? You're a monster! Nobody trusts and loves monsters! Leave me alone or I'll kill you!", David shouted at her. Her hands were covered in blood. "Please... Trust me... I didn't do that", she said crying. On the floor around her laid several people, dead. His parents laid down on the floor in front of him, dead too. "I'm sorry, I can't..", she said crying. "You killed my friends, my team, my parents! Why should I ever trust you again?", he asked her angrily. "David... Please... I couldn't control me... I'm so sorry...", she cried, begging for mercy. He pointed the gun into her direction. "I will stop you! I gonna stop you! You did enough damage! You're a monster, a threat against humanity!", he shouted. "No...!", she shouted, but it was too late. David pulled the trigger and the gun took of. When the shot hit her face she woke up, screaming out loud. Simmons and some doctors ran into the room. Milena laid on the bed, screaming and shaking. She was sweaty and her face was covered in tears. "She's having a panic attack!", Simmons yelled and told the doctors fast what to do. "Milena, listen. Everything's alright. Calm down", she said softly. Milena screamed louder and shook heavier. A doctor ran in again and gave Milena an injection. Some seconds later she started to calm down. Her body stopped shaking and she stopped screaming, but she didn't stopped crying. Her crying went over into sobbing. "Thanks for your help, now go!", Simmons yelled at the doctors. They left the room. Milena curled into a ball and sobbed. "Milena, listen. Everything gonna be alright", she sat down next to her and hugged her. "I'm a monster", she said sobbing. "No, you're not", she stroked her head and hugged her again. Rosalind came into the room. "What happened? I heard her screaming", she said worried. Simmons looked up into her eyes. "Suddenly panic attack. I don't know what it caused but we had to get her an injection with sedative so she calmed down", she stood up. "Maybe you should talk to her", she said. "Thank you Simmons", Rosalind said and sat down next to Milena. Milena waved up and down, still curled up into a ball. "I'm a monster", she sobbed repeatedly. "No you're not. You're my beautiful daughter, the best daughter I could ever have", she wrapped her arms around her and hugged her. "I'm a monster mum... I kill people... I don't want to be that thing any more", she said crying. Rosalind remained quiet, hugging her daughter until she fell asleep again. She waited for two hours and then she left the ICU again. On her way back to the flat she met Coulson. "Where were you?", he asked her worried. "Let's talk about it in the flat", she said. Coulson immediately understood what was going on. "This time the whole ICU heard her. They had to give her a sedative to calm her down. Phil, it's getting worse. The last times we could keep it for us, but now Simmons knows", Rosalind sat down at the table and drank a tea. "Did she say something?", he asked, sitting opposite her. "She said she's a monster, that she kills people and that she doesn't want to be that thing any more... I'm worried Phil", she said looking down into her mug. "I'm worried too. I asked Daisy to restore the data from the jet and Milena's tablet... Unfortunately we have something to worry about", he said and put down his tablet in front off her. She read the data and looked at him. "Please don't tell me that this can be true... Please Phil", she said, holding back tears. "Right now I have no idea. Daisy managed to break through every security file of Milena's files and send them to me. It's terrifying. She did research on this for months. She must be concerned". Rosalind pushed her mug asides. "Phil, if that's true, than we have a problem. One kid with this problem, no problem", she looked down at her stomach. "A second kid with the possibility to suffer the same way...", she said. He nodded. "Maybe it's just her and the next one won't be affected. We even don't know if all of that is true. All we know is that our daughter did research on something for months and that she has panic attacks. We don't know if all of that is connected. I told Daisy, Hunter and Fitz to do research on that too. Every step she does we gonna know. Everything she finds out we'll know too. She'll work together with David, obviously. They won't do something stupid again without knowing that", he said, taking her hands. "Don't worry Ros, I gonna protect or baby girl whatever it'll cost", he said smiling. "Thank you Phil", she said smiling. Then they stood up and went back to bed.
