Maia's POV/

"There's a Starbucks over there and three blocks down is a local coffee place. And over there is a Dunkin Donuts" I said as I pointed at the places.

"Let's go there!" She exclaimed as she took my hand and dragged me to Starbucks. I almost tripped because she was running in flats while I wore heals.

"You run fast" I mumbled as I wondered if she heard me. I shrugged as we just ordered and sat down on chairs next to a table.

"Soo... Is this a date?" I asked her. Finally getting the question out because I'm not dating some newbie doctor. Considering that I'M MARRIED!

"Well, I am absolutely positive that you are gay" She started as she blushed at my question. Why was she blushing if she's saying I am.

"And you have a wedding ring on. Indicating that you are indeed married" Elizabeth added as I bit my lip.

"So, no I don't think this is a date" she finally finished as I nodded. Feeling just a little disappointed.

"What makes you so positive that I'm gay?" I asked her as I crossed my arms. She just laughed at me.

"If it wasn't obvious, you were staring at my body when you caught me taking a selfie" She said as I blushed at my actions.

"Sorry. You caught me off guard" I said as she just shook her head.

"I should be the one saying sorry. I didn't know that you would come in. And I'm sorry about that" she apologized as I nodded at her.

"You were sending that picture to someone?" I asked as my eyebrows furrowed in confusion. And why the hell do I care?

"Nah, I just take pictures of myself when I look good. I'm wearing a new bra and underwear so..." she blushed as I nodded.

"And what about you? Are you gay?" I asked her as she blushed. She looked at her hands that happened to be in her lap.

"I'm... Experimenting" She said as she bit her lip. I licked my lips seductively as Dr. Reed blushed. 

"I'm wondering if I met that special person yet. But I indeed feel like I do" She said as I nodded at her. Wondering who it is.

"Am I honestly making a bad impression on you?" She asked as I bit my lip. Before I could say anything, someone came up to us.

"Will there be anything else ladies?" A waiter came up to us as I shook my head.

"If that's a no then maybe you can give me something... Sexy?" He smirked as I became uncomfortable.

"Uhh" I said as he just laughed sexily.

"Come on baby, let's go to the back room and... You can do anything you want to me" He smirked.

"N-No" I stuttered as I glanced at Dr. Reed. She just sat there, looking mad.

"Come on. How can someone beautiful like you can deny someone sexy like me?" He asked.

"She said no" Dr. Reed said as the guy flickered his gaze to her.

"I'm not deaf. I don't need ears for me" He said as he looked back at me.

"Why don't you get your ass behind the counter and start asking people if they want sugar in their coffee?" Dr. Reed said as I bit my lip.

*Scoffs* "Next time Doctor, come without your jealous girlfriend" He said as he walked away.
