Dear Diary,
Im at school right now. Im in the bathroom. I needed to get away. People I didnt know started pushing me in the hallway. They started kicking me. I wish I could disappear. Then I wouldn't have to go to school. I wouldn't have to go to the place where everyone hates me.

Mel cried quietly into her knees. She stopped when she heard footsteps coming into the bathroom. She sat there silently, hoping they were coming from art and just needed to wash the paint off of their hands. She started walking towards the stalls. "Oh no" Mel thought. She tried opening the stall Mel was in. She held her breath. "Damn kids. Why do they have to lock the doors when nobody's in there?" Her voice sounded mature. Like an adult. Like a teacher. She started to crawl under the door. She was halfway in when she noticed Mel. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I had no idea anyone was in here!" She blushed. It was the science teacher, Miss Jordan. "Th-thats okay Miss Jordan." Mel stuttered. Miss Jordan crawled out. Mel stood up and walked out of the stall, trying her best to avoid eye contact. "You okay hun?" Miss Jordan put her hand on Mel's shoulder. "U-um...yeah. Thank you." Mel hoped her lie worked. The was silence for a moment. Mel looked up at Miss Jordan. She had a look that said "I know you're lying and I'm concerned about you" . Mel sighed and looked back down at her feet. "...Okay." Miss Jordan finally said. "I've got to get back to class now. Come to me if you need anything, okay?" She took her hand off of Mel's shoulder. "Okay." Mel said quickly. Miss Jordan walked out of the bathroom. Mel went back into the stall and waited for the bell to ring.
