"DANE TIME FOR SCHOOL!!" Karla yelled from downstairs, Dane slumped out of bed and went down stairs. A piece of toast with jelly on it, bacon, and a glass of orange juice was waiting for him on the table, he sloppily ate the bacon crunched the toast and chugged down the orange juice. His mom was sitting at the couch watching tv now, she turned around and said "Dane your clothes are on the dresser in your room" Dane yawned and went upstairs, he grabbed the clothes off the dresser and got dressed, he went backdown stairs now his mom was was in front of the door with her coat on "come on sweetie it's time to go your backpack is in the car I'll drive you to school". They went outside she softly clothes the door and walked to the car, They both opened the door and got in the car purred she pulled out of the driveway and off they went. Danes heart was thumping he was nervous but he hid it. They passed houses and houses and even more houses, Dane could only wait as they got closer and closer to the school "aren't you excited sweetie a new school a new start new friends" Karla said "yah that's what I'm nervous about" Dane mumbled to quiet for Karla to hear. They finally got to a tan school with a white roof and on the front in blue letters it read skytop middle school. "We're hear" Karla said "are you ready to go" she added "I guess" Dane said. They opened the doors and stepped out the air was moist it had rained last night. They opened the doors to the school and it smelled like paints a poster on the wall read "we're not lion reading is great" and it had a picture of a cartoon lion reading a book, Dane just rolled his eyes "how cheesy can you get" he whispered. They went into an office where two lady's sat one with dirty blond hair and the other with brown hair "can we help you" the blond office lady asked "yah we got a call yesterday from you guys" Karla said "oh yah Dane satchel a knew student the principle will be out soon he's talking to another student right now just wait" they waited for at least 10 min before a bald man with a cop mustache walked out with a girl who had Burnett hair, black legging, blue purple silver and pink shoes with sparkly blue laces, and a plain red shirt with a tiny pocket and short sleeves. "Kielee for the last time u need to stop coming in late to science or your going to keep getting in trouble" the man said "whatever" kielee said, she walked past Dane looked him up and down and then just kept walking. "Alright who's next" he asked the brown haired lady "umm a new student Dane satchel" she said "oh yes Dane your teacher is mrs.boe room 677 u go to class and I'll talk with ur mom" he said "ok sweetie I'll pick you up after school toda-" "that's okay mom I'll walk" Dane said "umm ok" she said then Dane walked out of the office. He hopped up the stairs and looked around "room 677" he said to himself he walked through a hallway till he got to the room 677 he breathed in and then out then nocked on the door. He heard the door knob jingle then the door swung open, a teacher with white hair a grey sweater a silver scarf and jeans stood in the doorway "oh you must be Dane" she said with a smile.
