Jimi looked over to her older sister with a smile. She hadn't seen a smile on her sister's face in awhile.
"Frankie.."
"Yeah?" Frankie replied, turning to look at her sister.
"Do you think that, Dad will ever come back?" Her sister's smile faded.
"Jimi," she said, putting her arm around her sister's shoulder. She sighed. "I don't think he's coming back. Mom's crazy and he left when he could. I just wished he would've said goodbye..."
She nudged her sister. "But hey, things could be worse,"
she glanced at her watch, "Come on, let's go get something to eat."
"But we have no money," Jimi protested. Frankie looked around.
"There's a wishing fountain over there." She said, pointing.
"Frankie we are not going to steal again! We can't keep doing this!" She hopped down from the wall and threw her skateboard on the ground. "Let's just go home."
"I'm not going back there! And neither are you." She looked up at the sky. "It's getting dark. Maybe Mom has taken her crazy pills and passed out in her bedroom. We can go steal money from her wallet." Jimi didn't like the idea, well she never did. Her and her sister had stolen from their mom when she was asleep. She expected Frankie to take care of herself and Jimi.

"Jimi, I don't want to stay here any longer. But I need to get a job and make some money,"
"We- we aren't going to leave, are we?" Frankie looked over at Jimi. Her eyes were big and she could see the reflection of the sunset in her eyes.
"To be honest, Jimi, I don't know."
Frankie grabbed her skateboard and threw it out in front of her and jumped on. Jimi followed.
