A lot To Remember

Chapter 14

I stare at him dumbfounded not believing what I just heard.
"What? Why. No don't answer that. It's impossible we haven't known each other that long" I say babbling on and on trying to make sense of what has happened when he sighs and sits down on my bed.

"Nothing I didn't mean it forget I said it" I feel my heart fall and the pang in my chest makes me confused as to why I care. I sit on the floor on my knees and state at my shadow on the ground. I didn't understand this it was just so confusing and it hurt why had his words affected me?..

"I should go now" he says getting up and passing by me brushing my hand with his leg quickly making me jolt up but soon regretting it as a dizzy feeling washes over me. Why had that happened? I grab hold of my head and grab on to something why is this happening?

This is the second time I scream as the searing pain blinds me and that's all I hear as footsteps rush up screaming something I cannot hear.

"She'll most likely wake up soon it doesn't look like much is wrong with her i don't understand why she has been out for a week. I suggest you just keep her hydrated" A WEEK I hear a shuffling and then a hand squeeze mine.

"Thank you" mom? I try to open my eyes but feel as if they are shut tight that's when o hear footsteps and my hand is released.

"How is she?" I hear Trent ask but I don't hear a reply as more footsteps enter the room attacking me with the scent of pine and the woods chase.
I wiggle my finger subconsciously but it does not make my eyes open.
"You look much better now chase" I hear my mother say out of the blue.

" yup a shower does that to you" he replies but In an emotionless gone causing shivers to go down my spine.
"She moved honey I think she moved!" I hear my mom say and I try and open my eyes but it won't work.

Chases pov.

I stayed with her all week till her mother told me to go get something to eat and shower I did so but my mind was on her. How could I have been so stupid to tell her something like that then to touch her. I know how this works I wasn't even supposed to approach her but she needs to know what's going on.

I walk into the room and see her mother and Trent sitting by her talking but when her mother turns to me and smiles that's when I snap out of it.

" you look much better chase" she says I smile at her and walk closer to the bed but keeping my distant.
"Yup a shower will do that to you" I reply before my gaze shifts to idle In the bed she shudders and her mother squeals before telling the whole room that she moved.

I look at her plump pink lips to her long lashes and her brown somewhat curly hair. This girl was driving me crazy. I looked away from her and made the biggest decision in my life.

I was never going to see idle again for her own good.

And that's how I managed to walk out of that room without a look back.
