My Story

"My name is Riley Donald." I said looking into the camera. "As far as looks come, I look pretty normal. Straight, auburn hair,blue eyes, normal personality. But none of you, none of you know. I have depression. Smiling depression to be exact. Now there is a difference between smiling depression and depression in general," I told the camera. "When you have depression, its like the world is falling from underneath your feet. It's like it seems as if no one loves you. But with smiling depression, its the same feeling but you can actually smile through it...even when your heart is shattering into a million pieces."

As I choked those words I let a single year slip down my cheek. "I was diagnosed with Smiling Depression at 13. 3 years ago. At first, it wasn't bad, but two years later I started this channel on YouTube."

"You guys loved me. I have 3,147,659 beautiful subscribers who are here to watch my videos and support me. Then one day, " I chuckled, "One day I was going through the comments on my " Boyfriend Tag" video. As you guys know my boyfriend is Taylor Caniff. The comment that struck me had said, "Taylor is using you. He never loved you, and never will. He deserves someone better than a whore like you." It came to the point where I broke. I thought I was done. I cried myself to sleep. " I said crying softly. Then I remembered my scars.

I yelled into the camera, "You see what you did!!!!! All of you who hate me!!! I almost killed myself trying to please you!!!!" I showed the camera my scars, then lowered my voice.

"But I'm okay now. I have my friends, Taylor, and my lovely subscribers to help me through it. For those of you who helped me through it, I would like to thank you, because without you I will wouldn't be sitting before you today. My life is well now."

" if you ever need help with something like this, go to someone really close to you and ask for advice. This is my story and advice to you guys. I hope yours is better, and I hope this helps....until next time."

I said in barely a whisper and turned the camera off.
