❤Chapter 3: They Meet

Nature's POV
It was my day off and I was loving it entirely! I slept in for a few hours and I was awoken by an email. I usually don't receive emails unless its my job and they told me I wouldn't be bothered today, so I wonder who it could be from. I rose from my slumber and race across the room to my MacBook to see who could possibly be bothering me. I suddenly became shock at the email and the sender, it was an email requesting a meeting and it was from Cookie Lyon. "OMG! She wants to meet me" I said out loud, and she wants to meet me today! The meeting was set for 9am, I looked at my phone and it was already 8:30 so I hurried and got dressed and did my hair and makeup (In Media) and grabbed my iphone 6s and keys and hurried outside, it wouldn't take as long to get to the headquarters cause I moved close by as possible with the faith i'd work there one day an it cam true! I got in my White Camero and drove there, i was very nervous because she stated in the email if she liked me and my demo, she would sign me and I would meet the Lyon clan! It was now 8:53 and I had just pulled up, I got out and walk through the big doors and stop at the open lobby desk.

"Yes, how may I assist you?" The lady at the front desk said.

"I have a meeting set from today at 9am with Cookie Lyon" I said in a confident persona.

"Oh Yes! Right on time we've been expecting you, you look amazing" she said with a smile.

"Thank you, as do yourself" I said returning the compliment.

"Follow me ms?" She said and asked as she began walking.

"Gonzalez, Nature Gonzalez" I said answering her question as we stopped in front of big doors.

"Good luck Ms. Gonzalez, just knock and wait for Ms. Lyon to open the doors, I hope to see more of you, Btw I'm Becky" she said with a smile.

"Thank you Ms. Becky, and same here" I said as I knocked and watched her walk off.

I was shaking, as I heard Cookie ask who is it followed by 3 other voices.

"My Name Is Nature Gonzalez, I have a meeting with Cookie Lyon" I said a bit nervous, but not letting it show through my voice.

I heard whispers and I heard Cookie say to her son "Be Nice Hakeem". She opened the door with a wide smile, "Welcome Ms. Gonzalez, I'm Cookie Lyon" she said pulling me into a warm hug.

"Hi Ms. Lyon , Nice to finally meet you" I said hugging her back.

"Come, Come on in. Beautiful outfit" she said admiring my outfit.

The skirt and crop top hugged all my curves, my body was one of my best assets! Not to brag or anything.

"Thank you, Ms. Lyon! I love yours as well" I said returning the compliment.

"Please, Call me Cookie. Come meet my sons and Luscious" she said motioning me to the big conference table. "This is my eldest André and his wife Rhonda"

I extended my hand to shake theirs "Nice to meet you" I said.

"This is Jamal, my second oldest" she said.

"Hi, nice to meet you, I have all your albums! I'm a big fan" i said with a big smile and extended my hand and he grabbed it an pulled me into a warm hug.

"Its always good to hear that and meet a fan, we heard your demo and you have an astonishing voice" he said. "Thank you so much" I said. "Your very much welcome" he said with a warm smile.

"And this is my youngest, Hakeem" she said with a even bigger smile.

"Wassup Ma." He said with a smile only God can make, I was so caught off guard because he was so cute, he had his hand out, I didn't even realize til he cleared his throat and ended with a cute giggle and smirk.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Nice to meet you" as I took his hand an shook it.

"And may know of him, but this is Mr. Luscious Lyon himself" Cookie spoke as Hakeem and I we're still staring at each other. I quickly turn and faced Luscious. "Nice to meet you Mr. Lyon, i'm a big fan" I said. "No No No, your voice is breathe taking, i'm the fan here. But my question is what took you so long to finally send in your demo?" He asked. "Well I have had a rough past and with the conditions I was going through I really didn't have the time, but years went by and I got out the situation I was in and got myself settle and got myself a stable job and saved up enough to go into the studio to make the demo and send it in and here I am." I told him more so speaking to everyone in the room. "Well your here now, and we couldn't be more happier" Cookie stated "Are you comfortable with getting signed to Empire today Nat" she continued & giving me a nickname. "Oh yes, I just need a few minutes to read it" I said. "That's good, I like that! Always cautious" Luscious said. Cookie handed me the contract and Herself, Luscious, Andre & His Wife And Jamal began to get up and leave. I began reading as they cleared the room and I felt eyes burn the side of my face. I looked up to be face to face with Hakeem. "Um, Hi" I said confused as to why he was still here. "What's good ma" he said with a smirk. "I thought you'd leave with your...um family" I was hella nervous, he gave me butterflies. "What you nervous for ma, I don't bite" he said again with a smirk. "I ain't nervous" I lied, I was mad nervous. He came a little closer "yeah you are, I can tell. Its all in your voice" He laughed "Do I make you nervous ma?" He asked with a smirk. "No!" I said quickly. He rose an eyebrow. "Okay.... Maybe a little." I spoke truthfully. "I knew that, I just wanted to hear your gorgeous ass say it" he laughed. I finished reading the 3 page contract. And it met my standards. I grabbed a pen and signed my name on the dotted line. "You signed, so that means we'll be seeing a lot more of each other ma" he smiled wide. I stood up from my seat and walked to the door. "Maybe we will. Tell Laura I Said Hi" I said and smirked as I walked out. Leaving him bewildered and looking at my ass as I left.

I walked up to Luscious and Cookie Standing and talking in the lobby and followed by hakeem coming out of the same room as I. "I read the contract" I said and paused. "I loved it, I already signed. Thank you guys so much" I continued and they let out sighs of relief and warm smiles and pulled me into hugs. "No, Thank you. We start recording tomorrow at 10am sharp, we always meet in studio 13 on the 12th floor and I expect to see you, Hakeem and Jamal there. When I get there." Cookie said. "Yes Ma'am" I said. "Thank You Again Cookie , See you tomorrow" I Said as I hugged her and Luscious and walked away. "No hug for me ma?" I heard Hakeem say from behind me. I sighed and turned around and went to hug him. He whispered in my ear "See you tomorrow ma" he said as he gripped my ass as he giggled and smirked. I decided to be petty. "Yeah you too, bring Laura I would love to meet her" I smirked and walked off leaving laughing and a "whatever" face making Hakeem.

Today was a good day, One of my greatest dreams came true along with some eye candy for me to look at everyday I come in and go to work. This is going to be very very interesting.
