Ding Dong, I know you can hear me,
Open up the door, I only want to play a littleDing Dong, you can't keep me waiting,
It's already to late for you to try and run awayI see you through the window
Our eyes are locked together
I can sense your horror
Though I'd like to see it closerFear. It is something that had become quite known to you. Something that was always there. Even when it wasn't, it still sat in the dark corners of your mind. It didn't seem to want to go away, and it was all her fault.
The little girl in the pink dress, with blood covering almost every inch of it. The girl with the blood stained teddy bear. She appeared at random, and has shown up frequently since then. Let's go back to when she first appeared.
It was your 8th birthday. The party had ended hours ago, and it was now 10:00 at night. Your father was in the living room, watching tv, and your mother had went to sit in bed and read, while you were in your room playing with your legos. It had been an awesome day, and you had gotten to spend your birthday with family and friends. You were so happy. You thought nothing could get rid of your happiness, until she showed up.
You were beginning to get sleepy. It had been a busy day after all. You put down your lego creation and stood up to go get something to drink so you could go to bed.
You opened your door, flinching at the loud creaking noise it made. Your father had tried to fix the sound, but it hadn't made much of a difference.
You stepped quietly into the hall, walking towards the stairs. You could hear the rain pouring down outside, as well as the thunder that went with the current storm. You jumped at an especially loud clap of thunder. Looking out the window, lightning lit up the sky. You hated thunderstorms. The thunder always scared you. You took a deep breath and was about to head downstairs again when you saw something in the corner of your eye. You squinted to see through the sheets of rain, and were surprised when you saw the silhouette of a child.
You were now both slightly scared and curious. More lightning lit up the outdoors and you could see the child clearly now.It was a little girl that looked about your age. She wore a mud covered pink dress with ripped dirty socks. She clutched an equally filthy teddy bear in her arms. She had a semi creepy smile plastered across her face surrounded by long brown hair. She had the greenest eyes you had ever seen, and they were a magnificent emerald color. You then noticed the blood.
Blood also covered her dress and socks, as well as her arms and legs. Blood oozed from underneath her hair and from her forehead. You stepped back and away from the window, breathing heavier than you were before. You were terrified. What did this girl want? Was she even real, or just a figment of your imagination?
Before you could continue with your thoughts, another clap of thunder rang though the night and more lightning flashed. You screamed when you saw the girl was now right outside the window, staring directly into your (eye color) eyes. Her emerald orbs seemed to glow in a creepy manner, and the same smile was still on her features. She held up her teddy bear, and you heard her say,"Play with me"
You froze. She started to giggle, and it began to echo in your ears and seemingly throughout the entire house. She began to repeat the phrase, as well as bang on the window with her tiny fists.
"Play with me. Play with me. Play with me......"
You screamed and ran down the stairs and straight into the living room where your father was.
Ding Dong, here I come to find you,
Hurry up and run,
Let's play a little game and have funDing Dong, where is it you've gone to,
Do you think you've won,
Our game of hide and seek has just begun
