The Rise of a New Legend

One last prayer

As i walk this lonely path,

i only wish wings came out of my back,

they would spread wide

and i would never wonder why.

 

See me right here,

standing in the dark,

i close my eyes and pray

for me to see a brighter day.

 

People keep living,

they dont see what i see

i see a rotten world

and they wouldn't believe me

if i can only speak.

 

My mouth was closed,

the silence my new friend,

nobody will ever listen

to what my heart has to say.

 

The darkness is coming,

its embracing me once again,

i can only shudder

as it touches me with its cold hands.

 

I don't see a god nor i see science,

i only see what is real,

awful and disgusting liars.

I'll pray for you all,

a prayer i made on my own,

please if there is a lord,

don't let this darkness destroy our world.
