I tiptoed my way down the staircase holding my dress so that it wouldn't touch the floor.My parents had called me down for an important conversation with someone. I hadn't been informed of any meeting before today so of course, I was late.
"Mia dear,please try to be on time. You kept us waiting for 15 minutes." My mother said in her usual annoyingly proper tone.I glanced around the room. There was a boy with blond hair and piercingly blue eyes sitting in the chair across the room from where I was sitting. He looked like he was about 14 years old.
" I'm sorry mother.I see we have a guest." I said looking over at the boy. He smiled and introduced himself.
"My name is Alois Trancy! You may know me as the Earl Trancy or the Queen's spider eighther way that's me of course. And this," He gestured to a tall man with glasses who I assumed was his Butler."this is my Butler Claude." He said happily. I felt kind of uncomfortable with the look Claude gave me, but since I had a guest I decided to shake it off.
"So Alois why have you come here today?" I asked.
"I came to discuss our engagement plans." He stated suddenly. I gasped and looked at my parents in disbelief.
"E-Engagement p-plans?!" I stuttered still inshock. My mother and father had never discussed with me that I was going to be engaged!
"Mia! Calm down this instant! That behavior is not fit for a lady." My mother snapped I rolled my eyes and huffed.I snuck a glance at Alois who was smirking quite a lot for someone who just found out I didn't want to marry him.
"May I be excused?" I asked feeling my face heat up .
"Fine." My mother said with a frustrated sigh. I stormed out of the room and into my bedroom slamming the door shut behind me before sitting on the bed and groaning. A few minutes later I heard a knock on my door.
" Ugh.Enter." I groaned.The door creaked open and in walked Alois Trancy himself.
" What do you want? "I groaned . He closed the door behind him.
" Its actually hard to say. There are lots of things I would love to have! Hm... How about a wife?" The said smugly. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry Alois... I just wasn't expecting something so sudden..." I sighed.
"Hmmm... Like this?" He leaned towards my face and licked my cheek. I gasped and pushed him away.
"That's Absolutely Disgusting Alois! Why would you do that?!" I ran to my dresser and used a handkerchief to wipe my face with.
"I was proving my point. Plus... " He backed me into my dresser. "I like licking pretty things..." He smirked before letting out a mischievous laugh. I pushed him away again.
" I think I should go back downstairs now." I said rushing into the hallway and down the stairs.
My mother and father were waiting for me in the meeting room still with exited looks on their faces.
"While you were upstairs me and your father have came to a decision. We're sending you to live with the earl in his mansion up north. You will leave tomorrow morning. We'll have Francine pack your things." My mother said before leaving the room. My father nodded and followed her out.
"Looks like you're mine now Mia." I heard Alois's voice say. Great. Just great.
