Shawn Mendes ~ sad

I slid the door open, revealing the cool night air. I stepped outside onto the little balcony, my hands shaking, my cheeks becoming colder in the brisk wind. My world felt like it had shattered and my head spin with thoughts that made me want to scream and cry. Taking a deep breath, I slowly began walking toward the railing. My heart was beating fast, and my breathing was choppy and uneven. I put my hands on the cool metal railing, and closed my eyes, the tears drying on my face leaving me feeling dry and hopeless. The image of Shawn popped back into my head making me cringe and another lash of pain and hurt swelled in my chest. I opened my eyes taking in the beautiful view of the city. I climbed over the railing, using my hands to keep myself from falling. With one last look, I let go.

"(y/n)!" The sensation of falling was quickly replaced by two hands grabbing my wrists and pulling back.

"(y/n)," Shawn breathed as he pulled me into his chest hugging me tighter than ever before. I was crying into his shoulder, I could feel my whole body shaking.

"(y/n), I'm so sorry, I'm so much more than sorry and I was stupid and I just missed you so much and I let my body get in the way of my head." He pushed me back slightly looking into my eyes. "I love you so much."

"Shawn, I love you so much and I'm sorr-" he cut me off by kissing me.

"Don't be sorry for something that you didn't do."

"Please promise me you'll never do that again." My voice shook. He nodded once again, pulling me close to himself.

"I'll do more than promise." He whispered in my ear, holding me as if he would never let me go.
