The Challenge

Chapter 1

Levi's POV:

All week...All week the damn brat had been tailing me. Chasing me around talking about how he loves me. Confessing his feelings and his love and shit. If I had another INCH of height added to me for every person that's told me that, I'd be the colossal fucking titan. But no...I was the fucking prey of Eren Jaeger instead. All I could do was think about all his attempts of confessions as I hunkered down behind Erwin, following him down the hall, hiding behind some paperwork he had given me.

"Hm? Levi-kun what're you doing?" He asked noticing as was there.

"Nothing...Going over the paperwork you gave me..." I lied peeking over the edge of the papers and my eyes fell upon the brunette at the end of the hall talking to Connie and Armin.

I quickly ducked behind the papers, and leaned against the wall behind Erwin. I made sure the papers were still in my face as they walked by continuing on their conversation. I waited until they were down the hall and then gone. I let out a sigh of relief and heard Erwin laugh.

"What are you laughing at uber brows?" I spat, unamused at his sudden cheerfulness.

"Nothing. I've just never seen you act like this before. Not even when you're avoiding Hanji-san. Maybe you should give Eren a chance." He said and smiled confidently. I shook my head.

"No. That premature brat doesn't know the first thing about love. He's just a brat." I said knowingly.

"Oh, and you know all about love?" Erwin said and cocked one of his uber brows. Shitty eyebrows I thought...Just like shitty four eyes and that shitty obsessed brat. I'm sure I knew more than he did.

"I know enough." I said with a swallow...Dammit. That was a doubtful sign! Why am I choking on my own words!?

Uber brows chuckled. "Okay then Levi-kun." He said smartly.

"Tch!" I opened the door to my office and went inside ignoring the tall jerks smirk. I sat down at my desk and this time actually going over the paperwork Eyebrows gave me.

As I did and saw Eren's name on one of the pages, I started to think about the foolish brat...Only one of his blasted confessions had been the least bit of convincing...Something about it...I don't know I just feel like there's something I might've missed...Wait- why do I care!?

Levi's Flashback – No POV:

"Dammit Eren, don't you ever quit?!" Levi yelled as he walked into his office, he went to slam the door but Eren caught it.

"But Levi! Why won't you listen to me?!" Eren said running in after his captain.

"Because Eren you're just a premature brat...You don't know what you're talking about." Levi said and took a seat at his desk, and going through some papers.

"Yes I do! I know how you make me feel so that's something!" Eren protested, feelings crushed by his Captain's words.

Levi looked up at Eren and then rested his chin in his palm. "Okay, then tell me. Tell me how I make you feel Everything."

Eren blushed a little, but had a serious look on his face. "O-okay..."

"Captain as I've said before I'm not IN love with you, I. love. you! I want to be with you so bad sometimes it hurts! Even when I am with you and it hurts I'm thankful for it because you're unlike any person I've ever met! You're just so unique in your own way, and no one can be compared to you ...And I just want you to know how special you are to me, and I want to be able to show you that...B-but you won't let me. I may be a kid, but I have feelings and I know what mine are for you. Even if you pretend not to acknowledge them." The boy said staring into his captain's unchanging expression.
