He leans in and presses his lips to my cheek sending a surge of shock threw me, when he pulls back a sexy smile remains on his face.
JAKE'S POV
I pull away ,look down at her and wisper, "it would ruin my plans."Her eyes were wide and searching in shock, her blue eyes poping against her beautiful sandy blonde hair. God she is so beautiful and her lips look so lush ,but I can't let my human hormones let me fall for her,I won't let what happened to Marie happen to her. I would kill my self before I ever let that happen.
Stephine POV
The next morning I felt energetic, so I went for a run. On my fifth run around my block I ventured out to the next. I was now running my third lap when I saw it that hazelnut hair , I ran closer to where I would find it's owner and was shocked when I approached an extravagant fence. It was copper and twisted every which way. Through a space I saw a flash of hazelnut again and then I saw him. He was shirt less and to say the least toned, but that's not what caught my eye, on his olive tanned skin I saw scars that differed in size. I saw that they were getting bigger and soon after I realized why I knew I was screwed.
I heard a deep chuckle followed by an even deeper voice. " So you like what you see Stef? ".
At that I quickly stood up "Oh is that you Jake? I didn't realize you lived in this neighborhood." I said trying my best not look like the crazy stalker he thought I was.
"Yea well I just moved in so not many people know.What, if I may ask, the hell are you doing peeking through my fence? I mean I realize that I'm hard to resist but I do have a door." he said pulling on a black skin tight shirt that showed off his defined mussels.
Great not only had I been caught peeking into the new guy's backyard while I might add he was toppless, but I was sweaty and gross.
" I mean I wasn't going to mention the sweat but you brought it up, so yea why?"
Oh just frikken great I chose this time to make a complete idiot of my self and think aloud.
His features contoured and he started laughing. Not his usual chuckle but a full out laugh.
Great "I just said that aloud to, didn't I?" I felt the heat in my face rise.
After a few minutes he regained his composure and looked right at me and smirked. "Yea,kinda. " he said rubbing the back of his neck. He looked..... nervious. " Uh so are you going to answer any of my reasonably asked questions?"That smirk right back on his lips.
Reality snapped in and I remembered where I was. "I uh..." think Stef.... OH....."I kind of dropped an earing " I replied proud of my self I grabbed my ear.
"Stef you have both in."
"Yea that's cause I found it." Haha beat that.
"You sure?" he asked leaning in closer through the gate until I could smell his peppermint sented breath.
"Yep sure as you think I'm awkward right now." I giggled nervously.
"That's the complete opposite of what I'm thinking right now." he said licking his lips seductively.
"Okay." I said lengthening each letter "I gotta go now " and with that I ran full speed back to my house and into my room ignoring what ever the heck Chris said on my way in. I was sweaty, gross, and I needed a shower so I grabbed my iphone and blasted the raspyness of "of monsters and men " as loud as my phone would allow.

When "Love,Love,Love" came on I sang along and climed out the shower, got dressed in grey sweat pants and my dad's black "pain is weakness leaving the body " shirt ,and braided my strawberry sented hair to the side.

After I felt I could deal with Christian I headded down stairs .
"geez you sound like a heard of rinos Stef, why not tell the whole block your coming down the stairs."
"I will when you stop leaving you boxers everywhere." and to perfectly prove my point lied a pair by the entrance of the kitchen I picked them up and flung them into the living room.
"Hey." complained a voice far too deep to belong to Cris. I stepped in the living room and stood shocked.
"Um Chris. " I yelled looking for him.
"What do want?" he said walking into the room. "Oh yea Stef this is Jake,Jake this is my sister Stephinie." Chris turned to look at me "I told you when you ran in that I was inviting someone over."
"Yea well I didn't hear you, if you didn't notice I was running."
"Well if you didn't notice I tend not to pay attention to things."
"Uh guys." JAKE'S voice rang
"WHAT!" Chris and I yelled in unison.
