I opened my eyes to see a sky filled with glistening stars and a crescent moon glowing softly above. I looked next to me to see Angle, next to Angle was Nudge. I tried to look next to her to see someone else but I couldn't. I looked on the other side of me I saw Max, next to Max was Gazzy and Luke. Without noticing I fell back asleep I awoke again to see Luke's figure hovering above me in the sky. The stars dazzled around him and the moon glowed his outline shinning like something out of a fairy tale. I stood up, still a little shaky. Then I felt pain shoot through my back into my wing like a shockwave from a powerful landing of something heavy. I slowly opened my wings and soared up towards Luke. My hazel eyes gazed up towards the glittering outline. I flew towards him. He felt the small breeze from my wings and turned. "Sterling?" He asked in a whisper "Hi." I said. "Your awake!!" He flew towards me and wedding style scoped me up in his arms, he blushed when he realized what he was doing. I blushed back. Then suddenly he slowly leaned in, I closed my eyes and felt our lips meet. I put my arms around his neck, and he slowly pulled away. I opened my eyes to see a smiling Luke. "I've been wanting to kiss you sense the moment I laid my eyes on you." I blushed "I don't know what to say." "You don't have to say anything." "Just know that this can't happen again." He said sadly. "Why?" I asked as he set me down in the sky I started to flap again. "Because Fang would kill me." He replied. "You know he has a thing for you." "What?!" "No!" I said astonished. "He's just a little protective is all." He looked at me with sad eyes. Then the puzzle pieces slowly started to click in my head. "Oh..." I said my voice trailing off. I felt a salty tear slowly drip down my face. I looked at Luke, he outstretched his arms and I flew into them. He held me close as I cried onto his shoulder. I had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He picked me his arm in my back and other under my knees. He laid me down on the and kissed my forehead. He walked back to the spot he was sleeping and laid down.
