Dan, Amy and Percy all tumbled on the beach as all three hippocampi had stopped a few feet in the water from the beach in one second from their highest speed. Before Percy turned around to ask why, they were gone. Percy sighed as Dan and Amy picked themselves up.

"Does that happen everytime those forses come to Long Island?" Dan asked.

     "Forses?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, you know, Fish and Horses mix. I don't know why they're called hippocampi. They're not even part Hippo!" Dan complained.

"Huh. I never thought about it like that," Percy commented thoughtfully.

     Amy shook her head. "Boys."

"Welcome, Dan and Amy Cahill. I hope you enjoy your stay here at Camp Half Blood." Came a voice from a few yards away. There, standing in full stallion mode, was Chiron. Campers were starting to gather around them.

     "Hey, Chiron," Percy greeted.

     "Well done, child," Chiron said.

"Yeah, well done, Seaweed Brain. You managed to get them here without blowing anything up or dying," Annabeth teased. Annabeth was the most senior camper, but she was also a huge part of Percy's life. Hey, you can't just blow up stuff, get chased by Underworld monsters, actually go into the Underworld, sail a Sea filled with demigod-eating monsters and fight a cannibal cyclops without getting close.

     "Oh, ha-ha," Percy said.

Chiron chuckled. "Annabeth, would you like to give them a tour of our camp?"

"Sure. Come on," Annabeth agreed. She started walking and Dan and Amy followed. Percy probably went to crash, wherever he stayed.

"And this is Zeus' cabin." Annabeth pointed at the huge bank-like cabin with white stone columns.

"Awesome! Can I stay here?" Dan asked.

"I don't know where you'll be staying since you don't have any Godly parents. Chiron will probably tell you later," Annabeth answered.

"I'd like to stay in the Athena Cabin. The books in there look so interesting," Amy commented.

     "You like books?" Annabeth asked.

"Very much! I love reading and learning new things," Amy answered.

"Don't worry, I'll bring you some books. I understand the thirst of knowledge, you know, being the daughter of the Wisdom Goddess and all," Annabeth said.

Dan groaned. "You guys are bonding! When two geeks bond together, it never goes well."

Amy whopped him on the head. "Shut up, dweeb! Why don't you go and run off somewhere, the tour's complete anyway," Amy offered.

"Anything to get away from you!" Dan said and ran off towards the volleyball court.

Amy sighed. "Please excuse me brother. He's kind of . . . excitable."

"Don't you find it annoying sometimes?" Annabeth asked curiously. She herself never had much patience with Percy, who was eerily like Dan.

Amy's eyes turned sad. "No matter what I tell him, I'm so glad he's like this again. During the previous . . . incidents, he's been so distant. So sad and too mature for a 13 year old. Seeing the old Dan was a rare event those past months, but eventually he came through and I just can't tell how relieved I am that he's back to normal."
