Chapter 13.

Lauren POV

"Hey"... I responded

Chris came over and sat in the seat across from me and then he started making this face which made me know that he's thinking really hard and trying to get together what he got to say... The silence was killing me so I decided to break the ice...

"Sooo what did you want to talk about"

"Why Blake? He's one of my good friends and all but out of all the guys in the  world why Blake? Why one of my teammates.? ”

"Chris, I'm just digging Blake like you was when you first met Jada"

"YOU didn't just met Blake though you known him for about 3-4 years... how you just started getting feelings now"

"I don't know Chris why can't you just be happy that for me" I asked

"Because I've watched guys come in and out your life and broke your heart plenty of times and I'm tired of seeing you hurt Lauren your my baby sister and I love you to much for you to go through this again" Chris said rubbing his hands across his face...

"Chris... I know I've said this before but Blake is different he makes me feel safe and comfortable at all times....When I was with those other guys I tried to act like something I'm not but with Blake I don't and I'm just digging the vibe he is giving me...So can you respect that Blake and I really do care for each other and respect that if Blake ask me to be with him I'm going to say yes?"

Letting out a big sigh and a few minutes of thinking Chris finally responded to me and said

"I guess...BUT if he hurt you I get to kill him"

"I might just help you on that" I said laughing...

"Oh one more thing I really want to say sorry for pushing you or hurting you any kind of way it was just I was built up with anger"

"I accept you apology I shouldn't because you know how I am about guys putting their hands on me in any kind of wrong way ever since that thing with Tony" I said rolling my eyes as I brought up his name...

"Yeah...I should call Blake and talk to him"Chris said typing something on his phone....

"Maybe you should ugly" I said as I jumped up and hit him and ran upstairs with him on my trails...

Next Day

Lauren POV

Today is going to be a boring day for me... I just got done interviewing people because I need a new assistant  because the my old girl is moving to Chicago with her boyfriend of 2 months...

"Lauren you have someone for you" my manager Sasha said smiling cheekily...

"Alright let them in" said looking at her like she was weird...

When the person came in it caught me by surprise because I really wasn't expecting to see them...

"Well hello stranger what can I help you with" I said...

"Hey these are for you"

"Blake their beautiful but you didn't have too" I said taking the flowers that he brought me and hugging him...

"Well I wanted to" he said making me giggle...

"So what you been up to Cheeto" I said smirking at him..

"Well I really wanted to talk to you about something's"

"Like what B" I responded getting nervous...

"Well first how things been going"he said smiling..

"Nothing really tryna find a new assistant and just been really busy what about you" I responded rubbing my hands through my hair....

"I've been good you know traveling with these games and all but other than that I'm good" he said..

"That's good"

"Yeah so I talk to your brother earlier today and he bought up you" Blake said looking at me...

"What did he say" I said getting worried..

"Well he said that he apologize to you and y'all made up about that situation that happed at my place & that if me and you would become a couple he will accept it but its going to be super hard"

"Oh yeah abou-" I said but for cut off by Blake...

Blake POV

"Chris told me about your feelings for me" I said cutting Lauren off as she looked down...

"Soooo is it true" I said...

"Y-yeah" she said..

"Well why you didn't tell me Lauren"

"Because Blake I thought you didn't like me no more after that fight with Chris at your house" she said putting her head down..

"Lauren you didn't give me a chance to talk to you..You shut me out basically you shut everyone other than your two best friends"

Lauren stayed quite and just looked at me...

"Look Lauren I just don't like you I LOVE you...I've been in love with you since the day we first met but I hide my feelings for you because of your brother but ever since we had you that welcome back party for you..you've been on my mind like crazy"

Lauren looked down at her shoes blushing very hard...

"I'm just going to jump to the big question Lauren will you be my girlfriend" I said hoping she say yes...

Lauren looked up and smiled at me and crashed her lips into mine...I didn't stop her because I've been waiting to kiss her again since our first date..

"Does that answer your question Griffin" she smirked...

"Yes it does" I responded as a kissed her again but more passionate this time...
