Chapter 8.

Lauren POV

"This will do " I said as I put the finishing touches to my outfit that I'm starting to the airport...

Its been 2weeks since Blake and I have been on our date...He calls me everyday and checks up on me..My feelings are really getting strong for him..I hope we can be in a relationship one day....

I'm leaving for Miami in 3hours and before I go my brother and sister in-law wants to go to lunch...So I just put my things in the car and got in headed to much lunch with my brother...

Jada POV

This isn't just any lunch date...See Chris found out about Blake's and Laurens date and he is extremely pissed off...Chris and I are at the restaurant waiting on Lauren...I should really calm him down before he go off on her....

"Look baby its just a date what's the big deal" I said rubbing his shoulder...

"The big deal is she's out with my teammate and I'm not gonna accept that" Chris said...

"Well look their goes your sister talk to her nicely ok" I said

Lauren POV

"Hey guys" I said to my brother and his wife as I sat down..

"Look I'm bout to cut to the chase... why in the hell do I see pictures of you and Blake all hugged up" Chris said kind of yelling at me...

"Ohh this what this is about..look Chris I'm grown ok so don't yell at me.. And Blake and I was out having a good time as friends so can you lower your voice" I said

"He's my teammate I'm not about to let you go out and date him" Chris said

"Look I'm not bout to sit here and let you fuss at me like I'm a kid so I'm bout to go" I said getting up...

"Wait Lauren don't go" Jada said

"I'm sorry but until he gets it together and act like I'm not a kid anymore I'm done with him for now" I said walking out the restaurant...

Blake POV

I woke up a little later than I usually do...I got out of bed head to the bathroom and took a shower and do my hygiene stuff.

I got dressed and went downstairs to make me a quick breakfast... While I started to cook I called Lauren...

☎Phone Call☎

"Hello" Lauren said

"Hey gorgeous what you doing" I said

"Going to get Grace so we can catch our flight"

" I don't want you to go" I whined

"But I have to & I'll be back before you know it" Lauren said as she giggled...

"Ugh well what time does your flight leave"

"At 1:45" Lauren said which caused me to look at the clock and it was 12:36...

"Alright well I'm cooking just call me when you land ok"

"Ok bye Blake"

"Bye"

Lauren POV

Just that little talk with Blake done made my day a little better...I pulled up in Grace driveway and blowed the horn..3mins later Grace came out the house with her bags...

"Hey girly" Grace said putting her things in the trunk then getting on the passenger side..

"What's up" I said as I pulled out her driveway getting on the road heading to the airport...

"Nothing much girl still doing people hair and makeup" Grace said...

"I see you changed your hair over" I said touching Grace hair...

"Yes I needed something different but what's up with you and Mr.Griffin"

"We're good we not together though but we talk everyday to check in on each other" I said smiling thinking about Blake...

Traffic was kind of heavy today so that's why Grace and I left a little early... On the way to the airport I told Grace what went down with my brother and how I felt...

Skipping to airport

Grace POV

We arrived at the airport at 1:30 giving us enough time to check our bags or whatever and board the plane...

15mins after we got situated we boarded the plane...When got on the plane I can tell something was up with Lauren...

"Girlll you better cheer up we going to Miami" I said as I did a little twerk in my seat..

"I just still kind of upset with Chris" she said slouching in her seat...

"He's your brother and he loves you he don't want you to get hurt like you did in your previous relationships" I said rubbing her shoulder...

"But Blake isn't like that he's different" she said as her voice got a tad louder..

"I know he but right now Chris sees like every guy out there trying to hurt you which most aren't" I said as she didn't respond back to me...

"Look let's just forget about it and let's turn up these couple of days in Miami ok" I said

"Alright" she said...

That was end of the conversation and with that we talked about different things other than Blake and Chris...
