Big Bieber/Baldwin family Christmas!

Well it's that time of the year. It's Christmas, and I'll tell you something my family goes all out. They decorate the house to the extremes. You would say they are very competitive in the holiday category. One year for Halloween the house was so scary every kid who though they were brave enough to go up to the door ended up crying. *for those who trick or treat please tell me you have encountered houses like this 😂 I know I have.*
So Christmas is my family is a pretty big deal. This year of course it's going to be at mine and Justin's house so my parents have arrive five days early to pick out a tree and put up the lights and the garland and to figure out Christmas dinner. This is going to be interesting*

"Babe your parents are here!"
I yelled downstairs, I'm getting Kenna dressed. "Okay I'm just getting Kenna dressed I'll be down in a second!" I finish getting Kenna dressed and head downstairs to greet my parents.
"Hey mom and dad. Welcome to our house. I feel like you haven't been here since we finished renovating." I put Kenna down and gave my parents a hug.
"No I don't think we have, it looks great I love the kitchen."
"Thank you, it was Hailey's choice."
"So, ready to experience a Baldwin family Christmas Justin?"
"I hope so."
"Grama , papa!"
"Oh it's my favorite little girl in the world! How are you?"
"I good, Mommy got me a new Christmas dress." I think this dress is Kenna's favorite thing that she owns. I have a feeling she is going to tell everyone about it tonight.
"I see its so pretty!"
"hello sweet little Kenna."
"Hi papa."
"Hailey are you ready to be a Baldwin for one last Christmas and decorate to the max?"
"As ready as I'll ever be" I laughed, this was my dads favorite time of the year. He love decorating the whole house with the family while blasting Christmas classics throughout the neighborhood.
"Good, I hate to think this is the last one."
"Don't worry Stephen, I'll keep the Baldwin tradition alive. I won't let it die when we get married."
"Good man, I knew I liked you. Do you have any friends around that are still in town that might help me with the lights?"
"Uh my friend Ryan might still be around and I think I could hit up some people and find out."
"That would be a great help. Thank you."
"No problem."
I followed Justin into the kitchen, he was sending texts out to everyone to see who was still home.
"Were you serious when you said you'd keep the tradition alive babe?"
"What you don't want to?"
"Not to this degree no, this is crazy. I've loved it my whole life but now I'm building a new life and want to have new things and traditions to add. Like what happens if we aren't even going to be home for Christmas one year?"
"Baby, I promise. We will have hints of the Baldwin Christmas tradition laced throughout our own. If we aren't here then we don't decorate. Is that a good compromise?"
"Yes, I can agree with that. Sorry, I just can't commit to this every year for the rest of my life our house is was to big for that. Like Christmas is in a week, but we start decorating now, you would need an army to put lights on the roof and the outside."
"That is very true. We will have enough people to help, plus we won't need to put lights on the roof."
"My dad will go into cardiac arrest if there aren't light on the roof babe."
"There's lights up there already, remember I got that machine and it shoots the lights onto the roof?"
"Oh my god, I forgot about that contraption. Use it today so my dad doesn't kill himself please?"
"Yes babe."
Justin walked away and went to find my father, I pull out my phone and text my friends and wish them a safe holiday preparation week. This is a thing amongst all of my friends, we all decorate and the same time and then send pictures to see who did it best. If my dad knew about this competition we'd be decorating on Christmas still.
"Mommy?"
I heard Kenna's little voice call my name, I put my phone down and bent down to face her. "Yes baby?"
"Can we make kissmas cookies?"
"Yes we can make Christmas cookies. Well make them in a little bit okay."
"Yay!!" I give her a kiss and she runs off to the living room. My phone buzzes and I reply to some texts and then I got to the top of the basement steps and call out to Justin.
"Babe?"
"Yeah!"
"I need your help."
"Justin Bieber at your assistance."
"Can you go and pick up things from the store for me?"
"Yeah do you have a list?"
"Yes. Just run the list by my parents before you go. I believe I got everything."
"Okay."
