Chapter 10

"Hayes, this is perfect." I said looking up at the sky.

"I'm really glad you like it. What are you gonna get to eat?" He asked me.

"To be honest, I have no clue. I'm gonna ask the waitress what is good here."

The waitress walked out of the door with our drinks.

"Are you guys ready to order?" She asked us.

"I think so, I have a few questions. I have never been here and was wondering what you thought was the best." I said.

"Well our chicken is really good and we are most famous for our spaghetti." Taylor answered,.

"I think I will have an order of chicken with French fries." I said as the waitress wrote it down on her yellow note pad.

"And I will have the spaghetti." Hayes added.

The waitress finished taking our order and walked back inside.

Me and Hayes talked about everything. We filled each other in with stories that happened to us when we weren't talking. It was going great. We finished our food and went home. The bill was almost $50. That's a lot for 2 people. We walked inside to find everyone at the dining room table eating dinner.

"Well where have you two been?" Elizabeth asked.

"We went out to eat, it was amazing." Hayes said.

"Well that's good." His mom answered.

I went upstairs to my room and got ready to take a shower.

While I was in the shower I just kept thinking about how great tonight was. Hayes told me loved me and I know he meant it. I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me and walked to my bedroom. As I was walking out Hayes stopped me and asked me what I thought of tonight.

"Hayes tonight couldn't have gone any better." I said as I kissed him on the cheek.

I walked to my room and put fresh clothes on then walked down stairs. I got in the fridge and poured myself a glass of sweet tea. Elizabeth was sitting on the couch with Skylyn.

"Hey Liz, tell me about you and Hayes date!!" she said.
"It was great. We went to Solas and had an amazing rooftop dinner. Your son sure is a great boy!" I said.
"Awe well im glad you guys had a good time and I try to keep Hayes in line as much as I can."
"You do a pretty good job!!" I told her.
"Well its getting pretty late, so im gonna go get Skylyn to bed. Goodnight Liz." she said.
"Goodnight!!"

I walked upstairs and walked in to Hayes room.

"Hey, its kinda late so im gonna go to bed." I told him.
"Already? Its only 10:30." he said
"Well im kinda tired, but lets talk for a little while...tonight was great!" I said to him happily.
"Tonight was very great, and im so glad i got to spend it with you." he said.

I walked over to his bed and sat next to him.

"You sure know how to make a girl happy. But thank you again for everything Hayes. Youre so sweet." I said smiling.
"Thanks Lizzie. Youre pretty great too." he said winking at me.
"Okay well im gonna go to bed now." I said as i stood up.
"Wait.." Hayes said standing up "Gotta give you a goodnight kiss."
Hayes gave me a quick kiss on the check and hugged me.

I went to my room, plugged my phone in, amd fell asleep.
