Chapter Three
Bright lights shone across the floor, over the ceiling and all around, blinding me momentarily. My body remained on fire, burning every nerve and cell in my being as energy rushed to every limb, ecstasy filling me up as I couldn't fight off the grin on my lips. Niall let out a high pitch, boisterous laugh as we walked into the large mansion, his arm wrapped over mine and Liam's shoulders as we pushed in. Streamers, banners, balloons embedded everywhere, not only in a fun, overdramatic style but with a class of elegance. I shook my head, glancing down at myself. I had been convinced into dressing as Superman, well Clark Kent. A black mask rested across my face while a pair of thick-rimmed glasses were placed in the top pocket of my white shirt, slightly ripped open to reveal the superman shirt beneath, a tie undone around my neck while I wore a casual black blazer, black dress pants and black polished shoes. Niall nudged me with his hip, his head nodding towards the dance floor, people dancing and grinding across it. We all chuckled in laughter as we headed towards it. Waiters and servants wondered across the halls and rooms, wings strapped to their back as they remained in formal white dresses and black suits. They moved with a slight grace, dodging the dancers and twirling around those in their way. Everything seemed to slow down as they moved, my head falling to the side, eyes scanning across the room at the multiple guests laughing, talking, drinking. I gulped, grabbing some glances on a passing tray. "That's it Harry!" Niall cheered, grabbing himself a tray and throwing back the drinks, Liam following suit, but with fewer drinks.
Suddenly, my eyes widened, the liquid shooting through me, enlightening the flames within my chest. People's movement sped up, hands gripped onto my body, pulling me in all directions. Looking back, Niall was pointing and laughing while Liam rolled his eyes, taking back another drink from the champagne flutes. Turning my attention back to the one holding my hand, I tilted my head in confusion, my flesh burning in a weird utter bliss, heart hammering to the loud beat of the music, pumping through the home, pumping through my body. My jade green met sky blue, a soft giggle escaped the little girl before me, stopping as she twirled beneath my hand, her blue dress flowing as she span and twirled continuously. I smiled softly, becoming mesmerised as the spinning became consistent, once, twice, three times... Within a second, she was gone. Where did she go? Was she even there? A figment of my imagination?
"Harry." Someone whispered, I turnt to find no-one behind me, another giggle entered my mind as the euphoria swirled in the pit of my stomach, strengthening in my gut, a neverending feeling of bliss refusing to go. Even though I don't want it to. "Harry." It repeated, playing on my mind.
"What the-?" I began before two hands gripped onto my back, pulling me into the dance floor, waves of people passing by, I twisted to find Liam, grinning enthuiastically. Cheer radiating off of his as he passed me another pill. Slamming it into my mouth, it scorched my throat, my body beginning to glow in luck and joy.
"Harry!" Niall shouted, my eyes darted towards his voice, finding him in the middle of the dance floor, waves of people moving out as he gripped a microphone.
"What the-" I began again, Liam resting his hand on my shoulder as we all stared up at Niall, people dancing erotically behind him, grinding on each other, their bodies creating sweat while myself and Liam remained frozen, the drug working it's way through our systems, melting our insides with intense felicity. Breathing in, Niall opened his mouth once again.
"This one is for the boys with the boomin' system! Top down, AC with the coolin' system." Niall sang loudly, cheers exploding around him, my body moving by itself against those around me, the heat, the sweat egging me on, stimulating my body to move faster. "When he come up in the club, he be blazin' up. Got stacks on deck like he savin' up! And he ill, he real, he might got a deal. He pop bottles and he got the right kind of build!" Eyes closing, the drug dispersing in my body, warming up all the flames that were dying out, strengthening. Body and mind elated as the ecstatic feeling returned, bursting and exploding as my limbs moved out frantically, dancing the night away. "He cold, he dope, he might sell coke. He always in the air, but he never fly coach. He a mutafuckin' trip, trip! Sailor of the ship, ship! When he make it drip, drip! Kiss him on the lip, lip!" Niall exclaimed, I could hear his heels move as his breath grew short, my senses heightened I could feel everyone around me, each vibration of their body pushing mine, my body becoming hypersensitive. Heart beating wildly, breath quickening, a sense on invincibility overcame me as I needed to do more, move more, dance more, talk more. Do anything so my body can accomidate this intense energy channeling through. Feeling invigorated and yet comfortable, my body relaxing into it's own touch and still being restless. "That's the kind of dude I was lookin' for. And yes, you'll get slapped if you're lookin' ho!" Excitement rinsing through my body, I moved further into the middle of the dance floor. Niall having had disappeared, I glanced up,to find him on the grand staircase, dancing incredibly closely to some others while another took over the song. Eyes flashing around the room, everything intriguing me, so interesting and amazing. Why is everything so... Spectacular? I could see Liam standing awkward at the bottom of the steps, a girl pressing herself against him, her short denim skirt riding up, very little room between them.
