Three Months Previous

"So what are you doing Nicki?" mom asked. "I am going to go on penpal.com and find someone to email. Everyday after school is so boring so I want someone to talk to." "Ok as long as you are being appropriate." "Love you, mom"

This website is so damn cool, I can talk to anyone of these people. Let's look at Sam Lesser and see what his bio is. He is 17 just like me. He lives just over 9 hours away from me. I emailed him.

Nicki:
Hi Sam I saw your profile on penpal.com and I wanted to start a conversation with you. I am 17 I live in Hazen ND. I see you live in Drayton ND. So please email me back. 😀

Hi Nicki, nice to meet you, here is my phone number 701-632-7772 please text me we can email during school though, it is just easier for me. That is so cool. 😄

I didn't think he would reply that fast but he did. I'll text him.

Nicki:
Hey Sam it is me Nicki. So what's up?

Sam:
Hey Nicki, oh nothing much... Would you send me a picture of you for your contact information?

Nicki:
Picture! Here you go, I'll need one too.

Sam:
Picture! Thx and here you go, what should we talk about?

Nicki:
Let's talk about: School I guess, how was it today?

Sam:
It was good, I can't wait till next year though because then I get to graduate... And I am thinking of going to either North Dakota State University or Jamestown College, how about you?

Nicki:
Same, I was actually think about going to those too, lol similar minds think the same.

Sam:
Well, I have to go eat I'll talk to you when I am done.

Nicki:
I'll talk to you when you're done eating.

That was such an eventful conversation and it only lasted for 10 minutes. I guess I'll wait till he is done eating, maybe I will go eat too.

Sam:
Hey Nicks, is it fine if I call you that?

Nicki:
Ya it is fine, and hey what's up?

Sam:
Nothing really just sitting and enjoying the heat of my room. It is so cold outside right now.

Nicki:
Ikr, and so what is the topic this time around?

Sam:
Let's talk about our plans for the future.

Nicki:
Well, I want to be an engineer, yes a woman engineer, so ya or a mom. Actually I want both

Sam:
That's so cool, I want to be a father some day too.

Nicki:
Well, I have to go to bed, talk to you tomorrow.

Sam:
Night, talk to you tomorrow.
