Six

I get home from work to see Sam on the laptop looking at the wedding date on the calendar, I say "Staring at it won't make it come any faster." he replies "I know but these two weeks feel like forever." I reply "I know but the wait will be worth it, I will be back at 6pm I have to go to my dress fitting." I kiss him goodbye and I go off to pick up Lauren, so we can go see what dress I should wear for the wedding. We get to the dress shop. The first one I try on is a spaghetti strap a-line dress, it fit nice to my body, I walked out and showed Lauren, she said you look beautiful, I go back and I see a ball gown dress that I want to try on. I grab it and I put it on it just reached the floor it is also a spaghetti strap and it has a sweetheart neckline. I walk out and show Lauren and she says "That's the one, that's the one." I reply "I think so too, I will have to make alternations to fit exactly what I want, like to have sequins from the waist up and to incorporate some jewels into it too, but other then that I think I'll take this one." I walk up to the cashier and say "I would like this one but I would like to alter it. I would like some sequins and jewels from the waist up please, and when do you think that'll be ready?" she replies "I would say 3 days, will you come on in a day after we are done with it to fit the dress to your body, thanks have a good day."

Sam:

I watch as Nikki walks out the door and then I go back to what I was doing. I was on the laptop not looking at the calendar I was looking for a gift for her birthday that is tomorrow. I go to amazon and I find a Sterling Silver Birthstone Necklace. It is her birthstone and since she was born on October 5th her birthstone is tourmaline. She is going to love it. I click the overnight shipping. I am going to make sure she doesn't see it.

Nicki:
My phone vibrates and I look to see it is a text.
Sam
Hi babe, when will you be home??
Nicki
I will be home in 10 minutes, getting in the car, see you when I get home. Love you.
Sam
Ok love you see you soon!

I get home and see Sam making dinner.  I say "Oh, it smells good!" he replies "It is some Mac and cheese." I say "I will be right back out, I am going to go change." I walk into our room and I grab out his sweatshirt and my yoga pants and walk out. He says "I love it better when you wear your yoga shorts." I reply "I know that is why I didn't put them on." We eat then we go to bed.

Monday Morning:
Nicki
I wake up to see Sam shaking me and saying "You need to wake up to go to work and I need to get to school." I say "Actually, I am going to school with you I talked to the dean and I am still going." I stand up and walk into the bathroom apply my makeup and wondering if he knows that it is my Birthday today. I don't change my clothes. I walk into the kitchen and I see Sam setting something up and he moves and says "Happy Birthday Nicki!" I put my hands over my mouth in shock. He grabs something from behind his back, a present. I tear the wrapping paper off and I open the box to see my birthstone in a guardian angel necklace. I feel a tear drop done my face, and I look up at Sam and he wipes it away and he grabs the necklace and puts it on me. I look him he kisses me and then picks my up and sits my on the table and we kiss for awhile. He then picks my off the table and says "Let's finish getting ready for school." I say "I like this a whole lot better!" he replies "Well, don't you want to get an education?" I reply "Yes, but this is ALOT more fun!" he replies "Fine, but only if you can catch me." He starts running towards the bathroom, I run after him and I get into the bathroom before he does. I stand there out of breath, and I finally catch my breath and say "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with someone so special like you!" he replies "Only 1 week and 6 days!"
