I woke up screaming not sure what happened I sat there waiting for Bryn to come in running to comfort me and make a smart ass joke but nothing... everyone got use to the morning screaming and the midnight crying over the summer I got up and took a shower and turned on some music and got dressed I finished getting ready and went up stairs and poured a bowl of cereal and sat on the counter every one looked at me I took a spoon full of fruit loops

"What?" I said with my mouth full

I looked at them staring at me they looked astonished

"Nothing. You just seem different" Kath said looking at me

"Oh hey do you think we can give Bryn a chance I can help her control it" I said taking a spoon of cereal they still just looked at me "I'll talk to you about it after school" I got up and put my bowl in the sink and drove to school when I got there I saw guy pointing to my car and running over I got out of my car

One of them said " wow a 69 Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe" he set his hand on the hood "wow and it driven by a girl. HOT"

"Yah and if you want to keep that hand I suggest you don't touch it" I said closing the door and it make a creak sound and he got up and off of the hood of the car

"That's what I thought" I swung my bag over my shoulder

"Hey you Kara sorry I'm rus" he stuck his hand out for a handshake

"You're not getting a ride" I said looking at his hand he put it down Trevor pulled in right next to me and got out of his car

"Wow is that a 69 dodge challenger" r us said putting his hand on the side of it

"Dude hands off" Trevor said looking at him

"Sorry" he said leaning on my car

"Do you have a death wish" Trevor said looking at him

"What" he said

"Do you want to keep you ass?" I said looking at him

"Oh sorry" he said getting off

"If I catch you touching my car no if i catch you even looking at her I will skin you alive" I said moving closer to him "got it"

He nodded his head in panic

"Ditto" Trevor said

We walked into the school and when through the day we got to math we sat down I looked at Trevor and he looked at me

"Do you think her hunting stuff is still in the chevelle?"

"We will check after school okay?" He said looking at me

"Okay" I said

"Is everything okay" he asked seeing right through me I stayed silent we got through the day and I went to my car and waited for Trevor she finally showed up and I opened the back and looked at the empty trunk

"Nothing" he said "she must have gotten it before the thing"

"No there's a false bottom" I pointed to the lock and unlocked it and opened it up and saw all of her stuff and turned around and hugged Trevor he hugged me back he shut it while hugging me so I wouldn't have to rus walked up and saw us hugging we let go and I wiped my face

"Is she okay?" He asked looking at Trevor

"Yeah she's fine why are you here" he said having his hand on my waist on the opposite side of him he pulled me closer and whispered in my ear "there's something off with him just play along" I looked at him
