The Audition (Dylan O'Brien fanfic)

~Chapter 19~

Seline's POV:

When I hear a noise coming from my mom's room I freeze. But then the noise stops...

I creep to my mom's room and see if she woke up....I can see about three quaters of her bed...But I don't see my mom in her bed...

Oh no..did she wake up?

I open her door more, to see if she's laying on the side of her bed that I can't see,  but when I do it creeks.

I cringe my face at the loud sound.

Please don't wake up. I think to myself as I continue to open the door a bit.

I sigh when I see her sleeping on her bed. But then all of a sudden my unconscious mom rolls onto her other side.

I freeze in my spot as my heart skips a beat.

But when I hear her start to snore and I see that her eyes are still closed I feel my heart beat slow and go back to normal.

That was a close one.

I go back to my room and check my phone. It says I have a Snapchat from Dylan.

Dylan: Hey we're on our way to pick you up!!:)

Me: Okay awesome! I'll be standing outside my house xD

I decide to put on black jean shorts over top of my spandex since they are kinda short (Not short like booty shorts though)

Then I unplug my phone from my charger, put my charger in my bag, and put on my bag...

Very quietly, I walk to the front door and get my sandals on.

Oh! I should grab my sunglasses!

I quickly, yet quietly go to my room and grab my sunglasses and slip them into my bag.

....

I lock the door with my keys and wait outside for Dylan and his mystery girlfriend.

About 5 minutes later I see Dylan pull up by the curb. He rolls down the passenger window since that's the side that's facing me and waves 'hi' from the drivers seat. My jaw drops and my hands immediately fly up to my mouth when I see who's in the passenger seat.

"Holland Roden?!" I say as I walk up to the car.

'Yup. That's me' Holland smiles.

"Oh my god. I honeslty love you Holland. You and Dylan make the cutest couple in the world!" I say a little too excited as I get into the back seat.

Holland and Dylan laugh.

'Thank you' Holland says in a sweet voice.

"So change of plans...we're gonna go to the beach instead. Is that okay? Will that be okay with your mom?" Dylan says.

'Oooh I love the beach! I'm sure she'll be fine with it' I lie once again.

"Do you want to ask her just incase...I don't want her to think I'm kidnapping you" Dyaln laughs.

'Well its fine by me if you kidnap me' I joke.

Dylan and Holland laugh.

'I'll just text her and let her know we're going to the beach instead' I lie AGAIN. God that's the third time I've lied to him today!

After I 'text' my mom I tell Dylan that she said she was fine with it. Even though I didn't even text her.

"Okay awesome" Dylan says as he starts driving.

"So do you have your bathing suit on? Or with you?'' Holland asks.

'Oh...um....I don't have a bathing suit so I'm just gonna swim with this shirt and shorts that I have under these jean shorts' I say feeling embaressed.

''Oh why don't we go shopping for a swim suit together then?! I have to buy one for myself at the mall anyways'' Holland says and smiles at me.

'I don't have any money...' I shrug.

''No silly, it's on me'' She smiles again.

I honestly wanted to say: yes please! I would love a bathing suit! But I didn't want to seem rude and greedy.

"No really Holland. Thanks but its-"

'Common Seline stop being so nice! Now let's go get you a bathing suit' Dylan says in a funny way.

I laugh and I eventually give in.

"Okay thanks you guys"

'No problem' Dylan says.

God I hope my mom doesn't wake up...but I know she eventually will.

I sigh and just decide not to worry about that and to just enjoy the moment. Which is really hard to do when you know your mom is going to kill you once she wakes up...

Holland ' POV:

Seline is such a sweetheart. Dylan is driving us to the mall so Seline and I can get bathing suits.

I look back at Seline and see her playing with her hands....that's so wierd because Dylan does that too, when he's nervous or stressed.

"So where was your mom when we came to pick you up?" I ask Seline out of curiosity.

Her head shoots up. 'Uhh she was taking a nap. She likes to take naps near this time' she says a little pannicy.

I thought she just texted her mom and I thought she said her mom responded saying it was okay to go to the beach?...It just ignore it and decide not to mention that.

"Oh I see. Yeah I took a nap today too. I love naps. They make me feel so good after I wake up from them"

'Oh really? I don't like naps...in fact I actually hate them haha...I just feel like they are a waste of time you know what I mean?' Seline says.

"Haha I feel the same way" Dylan says and high fives Seline.

A couple minutes later...

Seline's POV:

Omg I love this song!

I tap on Hollands shoulder 'Hey Holland can you turn up the music please? I love this song'

"Yeah sure" She turns it up and I start singing along.

'One, two, three, they gonna run back to me. Cause I'm the best baby that they never gotta keep. One, two, three, they gonna run back to me. They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave!'

Then Dylan chimes with me:

"Ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me. Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all. They won't let go. Ex's and oh's!''

We both start laughing once we finish singing/screaming the course. Even Holland is laughing.

'I didn't know you were such a great singer?' I say, to Dylan, sarcastically.

"I know right. I'm so great" Dylan says as he pretends to do a hair flip.

Holland and I laugh at Dylan.

This is gonna be a fun day!

A/N: Short chapter again sorry I just really wanted to update again. Its either a long update in like a week or its a short update today.

And I chose short update today ;)

I really hope you guys are liking the new character! Please let me know what you want to see happen in this story in the future!!

The next chapter will be awesome and it will be mostly about Seline, Dylan, and Holland shopping at the mall and maybe I'll add them playing hide and seek on target or something like that (comment what you want to see in the chap) It will also be about them all having a good time at the beach and it will have a lot more about Seline's mom in it. So I'm excited to write it xD
