When Molly picked up, Sherlock's heart skipped a beat. Just the mere sound of her voice took his breath away. At first, Sherlock was quite overwhelmed with this new found affection- ever since Irene Adler, Sherlock had been scared to love. But every time the risks of love would come up inside his throat, he would end up pushing them down, because a person as Simply beautiful as her could never be a threat.
"Um, no I'm not. What's up?" Molly replied, smiling down the phone. She was thrilled Sherlock was paying attention to her.
"Would you like to, maybe get dinner somewhere? I Know it's cliche, and I'll think about it more next time." He followed hastily.
She blocked the microphone of the phone and let out a little chuckle.
"Yes that's fine- what time?"
Sherlock felt mortified.
"I will pick you up around 7- is that alright?"
Molly felt like she was very important.
"Yes that's fine Sherlock- see you at seven." She smiled and hung up the phone.
Though Sherlock could not see the smile, he knew she was smiling because of how her voice changed. And he loved it.

After he put his phone down, he went to get ready. When he walked into his room, John was sitting on his bed, grinning.

"I heard that you love bird..." he said turning his head slightly.

"Stop smiling like that" Sherlock said laughing.

"Your in looooove." John said standing up. "Don't worry I'll be a better wing-man than you."

Sherlock chuckled and then looked down. "John"

John put a blank stare on, placing his hand on Sherlock's shoulder. "What is it?"

"How should I dress?" He said cracking a smile.

John laughed and reassured Sherlock. "What you normally wear- just add a tie."

Sherlock nodded and cleaned up a little. When 6:30 came around, Sherlock hailed a cab and headed to Molly's house. On the way there, he breathed heavily into his hands, attempting to calm his nerves. When the cab pulled up he felt like he could throw up, but he swallowed his fear and rang the doorbell. When she came to the door, she took his breath away.

"You, look beautiful." He stuttered. "Not that you don't always- oh gosh, I'm sorry."

Molly chuckled and took his hand. "Thank you." she said smiling.

He nodded and led her to the cab, opening the door for her. He wasn't sure what to do during the ride so he just smiled. Molly knew he was anxious so she linked her arm in his. He looked into her eyes and saw the galaxies, and smiled at her. When they reached the restaurant, Sherlock took Molly to their seats. It was the same restaurant John had attempted to propose to Mary at. After they had nervously scarfed their dinner, Sherlock took her hand in his. "Molly- I really love you, I have no other way of describing my feelings. This is a fairly new sensation but its glorious! I would like to bask in it as long as I can."

Sherlock breathed a sigh of relief which was very audible, and she chuckled. "Would you like to come over and watch a movie with me after?" he said, shaking.

She smiled. "I would love to." He smiled and paid for their dinner.

on the cab drive home, Sherlock slipped his fingers into Molly's hand, finding that they fit perfectly. He looked at her and wished he could snap a picture of her perfect eyes and the way the light hit her face-but a picture wouldn't do it justice; it was too beautiful. He smiled, for he hadn't been this happy in a long time.

When the familiar flat on Baker street came into view, he helped Molly out of the car and paid the toll. when they came upstairs, Sherlock offered molly a pair of his pajamas.

"If this is, weird, that's fine but I Thought you'd be more comfortable."

Molly smiled and took them. "Thanks." she chuckled, and went to put them on. Sherlock took off his tie and coat, putting them on John's chair. He sat on the couch and rubbed his face. When she came back out, he smiled and made room for her. She sat close to him, cuddling him. He put his arm around her as she laid her head on his shoulder. Him, being much taller than her, looked down at her and smiled. she looked up and grinned. He knew it was risky, but he moved his hands to her cheeks and moved his lips to hers. After a few minutes, he broke away, and smiled.

"Was that okay, or...?" He asked nervously.

She chuckled. "Yes Sherlock. it was lovely." She said and laid down again.

Sherlock let out a silent sigh, and watched the movie bringing her closer to him. Half way through, she fell asleep in his arms. He held her until he fell asleep too.
