We all get back in the car nobody says anything and its silent. I see that the lady keeps looking at me in the mirror trying to figure out why I was still here."Your those kids who got hit with nick arent you?" she said "well I didnt get hit but carson did" I said looking at carson "and we also saw exactly what nick did that girl it was real" I said looking over at Nick.For once he actually gave me a half smile."Is there anywhere we can take you guys?" The lady asks "no" I say "no where" it look out the window "besides the church again" carson says. "No that places isnt a good place to be right now" who I now know is travis says. I figure out he must of seen the place. "We need to go to the desert." travis says. "itll be safer there." Travis then leaves a voicemail for someone who I figure out is someone named Chris , telling him it's an emergency.

Madison calls someone named Alicia and learns that she's with Matt, who is home alone with a severe fever. Madison then says "Alicia stay away from Matt until we arrive."

We get to this Matt's house, they get out and tell carson and me to stay in the car "Really?" I say and sit back and sigh "its better here than in there" Carson says. "yeah but out here we have no water" I say getting out "jaz!-" carson says as I get out and slam the door and run up the stairs to the nice house. I walk in find the kitchen and pour a glass of water "who the hell?" i heard someone say i turned around and saw that girl from the hospital "why?- i need that" she said as she took the cup of water from me.

"hey" I say as i follow her into a room and see Alicia wiping what i know is Matt's brow, refusing to leave his side despite the possibility of infection. Travis finds a large bite on Matt's neck. Realizing the gravity of the situation I leave the room.As I'm in the living room I hear shuffling.Scared i run to the kitchen and grab a knife.

I slowly walk to the sound and find Nick rifling through Matt's bathroom drawers, desperately looking for something."What are you looking for?" I ask as I drop the knife to my side.

He stops and turns around "nothing.Well at least nothing that concerns you"he says."I think it does if your trying to get high." I tell him. "Jazmine." Carson says gripping onto my arm.I flinch. "Dont do that ever again."he says looking me straight in the eyes. "okay" i said."come on lets go back to the car" he says pulling me away i stop him and look at Nick "Maybe thats why you parents dont believe you" I say. as Carson pulls me away.
