Abhay's POV
Present Day
The ladders of my thoughts mixed with several female voices that giggled behind my ear.
When I turned behind, I saw everyone walking out of the door and most of them were females who were giggling.
I didn't even realised that office hour has finally ended.
Kabir and Maya walked towards me.
"So dreamer did you work anything?" Maya asked teasingly with that big smile on her face. Though, her act of being human is so unnatural that any smart human will catch her fake acting. But, I tried to be composed and not get angry on her.
"Ofcourse." I showed her the computer screen where god knows what documents were opened.
I didn't even know what I did whole day. It looks like I simply was staring at the computer screen.
"Where is she?" I asked Kabir while glancing behind me. I could see all empty desks.
"She left" Kabir replied coolly and continued, "So what's next plan."
"You do whatever I told you to do." Kabir nods his head and I continued with authority in my voice, which I am sure he registered in his head, "just keep your eyes on her."
I had hired Kabir because I could not come in front of Piya, until the time is right.
Last time, I saved her.
But I couldn't take any more risk, that's why I had joined her office.
Her life is in danger. Everywhere my family members are there to protect her.
In her class, Siddharth's three sons are studying. In her house, my brother suraj is a servant. But, he can only keep eyes on her for an hour. Rest of the time, Kabir keep calling and checking on her.
I cannot go close to her, until she trusts me. We are still not friends.
I guess, Kabir was right. She is reserved and she will not open that soon to me.
But, she was so different when I met her, three months ago.
What happened in her life, in these three months, I still have no idea?
