They were both freshman and had most classes together. They were always together but then something happened. He started talking to this girl and things got serious with them. They stayed dating and she didn't like it because she couldn't lose her best friend. She told him how she felt. He told her that she would always have him.
Once they were sophomores they were both single. They were more flirty with each other though. Everyone just thought they were acting normal. She wanted to tell him how she felt but didn't want to lose him too.
One night they were on the phone for hours. Just taking about life and each other. She told him how she felt about everything. Silence total silence.
