Saturday 10:35 pm
I watched as Jake retreated into the house to get our drinks. I smiled to myself thinking that Stephanie must have done a good job on my hair and makeup because as I was looking around people were whispering and pointing to me wondering who I was.
"Here you go," Jake said handing me my drink and breaking me out of my little trance.
"Thanks," I smiled at him taking the drink.
I looked into it and could smell the alcohol. I've never really drink before, just a few sips of my moms wine every now and then, and one new years party I had a glass of champagne. I saw Jake look at me as if testing me to see if I would actually drink it. I put the cup to my lips and took a big swig of the drink. I could feel the alcohol burn my throat but I smiled at him like it was nothing.
"What'd you think? I made it myself, part vodka, rum, sprite, and orange juice," he asked me with hope in his voice.
"It's good," I nodded. I think its more vodka and rum than anything else but hey it was his party its not like I was gonna tell him it was gross, even if it was.
Jake started talking about baseball and how he needed to improve, I nodded when it was appropriate and put my input in every now and then. I started to get bored with the conversation so I told Jake that I had to go the bathroom, he politely let me go. I got up and chugged the rest of my drink before throwing the cup in the trash can in front of the doors.
I entered the house to see everyone crowed around the ping pong, or now beer pong table. I started to walk over and saw Tony watching as well. I went up behind him and taped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled at me.
"Baylea! Hows it going?" he shouted over the loud music.
"Good! I had my first drink!"
"Really well your about to have your second here take this," he said while handing me a shot.
I took it and put it down with out any problem, I liked that way better than the drink Jake gave me.
Tony looked at me shocked, "Wow! Your first shot and you didn't even gag!"
"Well that was a lot better than what Jake gave me! Can I have another?"
He nodded eagerly and handed me another one. I swallowed that one too and I could start to feel the alcohol take over.
"Let's dance!" I shouted to Tony while taking his hand and dragging him to the living room where everyone was dancing.
I turned around so my back was to Tony and started grinding on him. Our bodies danced with perfect synchronization and I never knew I could dance like this.
On cue, I swear he can read my mind sometimes, he leaned down and whispered in my ear, "I never knew you could dance like this Bay."
"Me either," I pretty much mumbled to myself.
Someone walked by with a tray of shots and I took one while still dancing with Tony. We danced a few more songs until some shouted 'BODY SHOTS!' I turned to Tony and looked him with pleading eyes, he nodded and lead me to the ping pong table where people were starting to gather. I jumped up and down like a little kid on Christmas, the alcohol was obviously taking over my body.
I jumped on the table and lie down so the guy, I think his name was Dylan, but my memory is kinda blurry right now. Anyways Dylan put the salt on my breast and I grabbed the lime in my mouth.
Tony took the shot of tequila, licked the salt off my breast and sucked the lime from my mouth.
"Your turn," he whispered in my ear which made me burst into a fit of giggles.
