Chapter Seven

Natalie In The MM

Natalie

After Gloria finished my hair she smiled, "Girl, your hair got long."

Gloria is Natalie's bestfriend .. Remember her?

I looked at it and I damn near went crazy "Shit, you right."

Tay ran up in Gloria's hair salon.

"Hey nigga don't be runnin' up in here like that." Gloria semi-yelled

"Shut up Gloria." He yelled back and I laughed.

Tay put $200 on Gloria's station "Keep the change that's for Natalie's hair , let's go woman."

"What the hell Tay?" I said and he grabbed my hand and yanked me up.

"We found Tiara man let's go." He said and I got up and thanked Gloria before I ran out the store.

I looked at Gloria and winked at her.

"Boy, you are not that cute." She said

"Um, I'm one of the sexiest niggas you'll ever meet." I replied

"I have a son and an ex-husband" She said expecting me to leave.

"So? I love kids and the fuck is your ex husband gonna do to me?" I said

She blushed a little "TAY!" Natalie yelled from outside.

"Ight, We'll finish this conversation later." I said as I left.

Tay went in his car and I went in the passenger side and he sped to my house.

I jumped out the car and ran inside and saw Alex, Donnie, Sara, Darrell and......Tiara

I smiled and picked up my baby girl and she hugged me tight "Mommy , I missed you."

I felt tears stream down my eyes and I held Tiara tighter.

"Who found her?" I said as I started to contain myself.

"I woke up and the doorbell rang and I went downstairs; saw Tiara called everyone and I tried to call you." Alex said.

"How do you know how Tiara looks?" Darrell asked.

"I showed him pictures, Darrell chill." I replied.

Everyone crowded around Tiara and was hugging her except Alex and I went towards him and hugged him.

"Thank you , Alex." I said

He hugged me back "Your welcome..Listen, don't rush the story from her so quickly. Call me later I gotta hit the road." He said as he walked out .

What's going on with him?

Alex

I felt guilty because I knew where Tiara was and I told Wade to bring her to my house.

I lied to Natalie ... AGAIN.

Here's the story..

Some hours ago...

"Bring Tiara to my crib man." I told Wade and he laughed dead in my face.

"Did I crack a joke?" I added.

"Nah, you didn't but you on some crack if you think I can bring that girl here without catching some attention." He said .

"Fuck it, I'll do it." I said.

"With what instructions?"

"You told me where she was so I'm going to go get her."

He laughed again and that shit was starting to aggravate me.

"Man, you need to keep ya eyes out for that nigga Darrell..he ain't as squeaky clean as you think he is, He could've known where Tiara was this whole time."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

He smiled "All the connects in the world and you tellin' me you don't know where ya daughter is? Come on Alex think now I'm gonna leave while you let that sink in."

He left and as the door shut I just sat down on the couch.

I dribbled my basketball for a while and shot some lay ups and jump shots for a while.

I'm taking a break from the NBA for a while I need to clear my head.

Suddenly, the door was banged on and I grabbed my gun and I swung open the door and aimed my gun as I saw a black truck speed off and I saw a little girl standing there.

I cleared my throat "Tiara?"

She looked up at me, "Do I know you?" She said softly

Damn. She really does look like her mom.

I picked her up and brought her into my house and I closed the door and I sat her down on my couch.

"Listen, I'm Alex. A friend of your mommy's whatever happens for your own safety tell your mom this story and not the real story okay?" I said.

She looked at me "I'll get you some food and stuff so you can feel better because I know you're probably scared."

She nodded "Okay."

After I gave her some food , we talked for a moment and I gave her a story to tell her mom .. for her own safety.

Present

I drove off and I wish I could take Tiara with me because she's experiencing all this shit and she's only a kid.

"FUCK!" I banged my hand on the steering wheel.
