"Tori Evelyn, Nicole Eshart, Steven Novcane, Eckhart Smith, Pat Patterson, Jessie Holden."

Tori and Nicole exchanged looks and figured that neither could be in trouble. They didn't do anything, heck, they were staying longer then they probably needed to, but then again, as they got up to go, the bell rang to go to next period. Going to the  auditorium came first, no matter the case. Especially sinc they had no idea who the rest of them were.

They were the first to arrive, but then came a boy, no... he's more a man. Standing at 6'5", his tan skin made him delectable to look at. Other then that, he wore a black T-shirt and blue jeans, something not uncommon when it came down to everything.

"Steven, your names?" Steven asked, and they introduced themselves to him and they all sat down. The auditorium was basically a theater anyhow, so that made it quite interesting. Next came a somewhat smaller man.

Standing at a solid 6'0",  his black and mop-like hair made him seem odd, even inside this group of people. He was as white as any other person could be, an his clothing was black jeans and a white-tank top. He had the build of an athlete, like Steven, but it was clear that he knew more then he let on. He just kinda gave off that aura.

Next in, came another boy, this one at about 5'7, he stood shorter then the rest and was on  bit of the chubby side, but the way Steven looked at him, it was clear he held some sort of significance.

"My name is Eckhart." The Mop-like hair man said, and then the smaller man identified himself as Jessie. What a group they had, and it wasn't finished yet. There was only five of them sitting together, but then Tori noticed movement on the stage.

They had a big, round table set up, with cushions to sit on, and what looked like a map of the world. Weird.  Nothing she couldn't shake off a some sort of weird, or stupid, game of some sort that they're going to play .

They noticed a fellow with a beard, grown well, joining them in sitting. He introduce himself as Pat, and they noted that he was more then a bit on the chubby side, with a receding hair-line, and if one could be bothered to look, notice that he's wearing a big, black hoodie. Certainly the strangest off all of the kids, it was questionable at best if he was a student. At least, until he told them that he was only 17, no older no younger.

After about five minutes of some small talk, a bit of actual, meaningful talk,  Mr.Herickson came in. Mr.Herickson was the history teacher , and invited them to come down and sit in the labeled spots. On the left, sat Eckhart. From the right of Eckhart, went Jessie, then Nicole, Tori, Steven and then finally, on the other-side of Eckhart, was Pat.

Mr.Herickson came up, and he sat in the front row and explained what they were doing here .

"We're here to play a game; and we chose all of you bright young men and women; for each a different reason."

He pointed to Eckhart, "You were chosen because of your smooth tounge and wit."

He pointed to Tori, and Nicole, "You two are equatable to the most average of everyone here, jacks of all trades if you will."

He pointed to Steven, "Star Athlete in this school,  and generally good grades. Equatable to someone that could rule the world if given the chance. Like Napoleon, who got so close ."

He then pointed at Pat, "He's the single, best strategist, in this school. At least, via teacher opinion."

He sat back, and out came a bunch of people from behind giving each person 30 green cubes, 20 yellows, and 10 plastic army men.

"Each of these stand for a thousand troops, making each of you own one part of the world."  He said, pointing to a plastic army man, and then pointed to the green cubes, "That's your money," and last he pointed at the yellows, "Those are your natural resources. Each has a use in maintaining a safe and secure country. That's for you to figure out more then anything. If you can, that is."

He laughed before pointing at Steven, "Alright buddy, you own... the U.S. of A, and Canada. Tori, you own Australia..." He went on, in his rambling tone, and told Pat he owned South America, Nicole that she owned Africa, Tori that she owned Russia and Europe, Jessie that he owned Greenland and Eckhart owned Iceland.

"Alright, let the game begin. May the best win." The teacher concluded before seeping back into the stage, and his steps could be heard going out of the theater.  They sat, silent,  before Steven decided to pass his time, waiting to see exactly who this is going to go down. Steven wasn't stupid, but neither was anyone as no one decided to take their turn the first time.

Out came a few students and gave out two plastic soldiers to each person, and then another to each for skipping their turn the first turn. It was left to Steven to start. He had 13 whole soldiers, and decided to start a perimeter on Mexico with 4000 of his troops, and 3000 on the  edge of Canada facing Greenland.
