The two looked at each other, and tired to imagine the other in a loving manner, and could not even fathom it at the point. So, it was taken upon Tori to start the conversation.
"So, you really think that the teacher wants us to write this whole thing?"
"Sure, I don't see why not. I'm sure we've all written something stranger in our lives."
"Sure, I know I have, but to be about the two of us... that's certainly new, isn't it?"
"It is."
That bit of conversation open, and not pursued, they went and opened a Google Doc that allowed them to work on it without interruptions, and did so for 30 odd minutes without the teacher coming to check the progress. They seemed to agree on a few things, like the placement of the story and that it'd take place, in close, to the present. It's to make much easier then before. Easier said then done, but it was never said, so it allowed one to have some...creative value in it.
Noticing that it was 10 minutes before class ended, Tori decided to pipe up so that the room wasn't so oddly silent as it being led.
"So, you think this could work in real life? You know. Us. It doesn't seem like we'd fit ."
Nicole rose her eyelashes, an awfully inquisitive look coming upon her face. Was that a challenge? It's a challenge that would be met if it was, but then after seeing the look of actual ponder on Tori's face, it was obvious that it was meant no more then mere speculation due to the ever-changing English class . Not that the teacher was ever here an entire day, usually leaving later in the period for some kind of meeting, which left the five minutes before she left to the ever-shifting face of Nicole.
"Can't say I could, or at least, as it is."
Shrugging it off as the teacher left, everyone but like 6 people, who kept talking. Two of those six were the ever-Tori Tori, and the ever chill Nicole.
When there was two moments left of class, an announcement came through the intercom.
"Would the following students come to the Auditorium?"
