I ran. That's all I did now a days. I would run for fun. But right now I ran for my life. Ever since the new girl moved here, here being Hollows Valley. This new girl had all the guys drooling over her. Which meant the boys had no time for their mates. With little time to their mates, the girls got mad. Mad mates means Hell on Earth.

A claw to my back stopped my thoughts. I howled in pain as I rolled down the hill in front of me. I came to a stop at the bottom. I felt little drops of blood seep from the wound. My head was pounding against my skull.

"Get the runt!" I heard someone yell. I tried to think but I felt several hands pin me down. With every little movement the hands grabbed harder. I yelped and shifted to my human form. I was exposed to these men.

"Please." I begged. I hardly saw people. My eyes were a blur to my head trama. All I could see were eight figures surrounding me.

Instead of laying there doing nothing, I looked around for a way out. My eyes landed on a still form on the ground. As my eyes began to focus, I realized it was a little girl. She seemed to be unconscious next to one of the guys.

My heart sank when I realized who it was. "Katherine!" I screamed but she didn't move. I struggled against the hands that held me down.

I felt my wolf raise to the surface. I could tell my eyes went black as night. I felt my wolf's claws rip at my sanity. A growl escaped my lips as I lost control.

All but three guys backed down in fear and shock. I found this as my opportunity to get up. I heaved myself onto my feet, knocking the three men back and away from me.

A brown haired guy charged at me, his lips pulled back revealing a set of elongated canines. I bowed my head and ran into his stomach. He stumbled back and glared at me. I didn't give him a chance to attack. I ran at him again and dug my nails into his throat till blood dripped off of my hands. His body dropped to the ground; lifeless.

I walked away from his body only to be met by a blonde guy. He kicked me in my throat and punched me square in my nose. I cried in pain as the cartilage snapped. It took a second but I soon recovered. Using my foot to hold him down, I grabbed his head between my hands and snapped his neck.

I closed my eyes breathing in the smell of fresh blood. The sound of his last gargle of air caused a sinister smile to spread across my face.

The last guy was in wolf form. The wolf was a chestnut color with flecks of white on his stomach. He backed away slowly with his head down. I would have let him go but I lost control of my wolf. She wanted to see them all die.

"Jennastilya." I spun around mid-stalk. Katherine got up and looked around. She was holding her head as if she was hurt. I was hoping she wasn't.

I was pleased to see a smile cross her face when she saw me. My heart fluttered slightly as Katherine stood up and walked towards the last man. In one swift movement she grabbed his jugular and tore it from his body.

A nine year old girl ripped out a two-hundred pound wolf's throat without even trying! All young wolves were strong and fierce. Some more than others.

Finally, my eyes went back to their normal grassy green color after I had calmed down. My wolf went back to my subconscious. She was pleased with her destruction.

After our 'adventure' we went home. I knew mom would be mad that we were late for dinner and that we killed an alpha. Well Katherine did I just watched. We walked through the woods to our home. THe blood that caked our clothes was now drying. It went from being a vibrant red to a muddy brown.

The white house came into view an hour later. I walked into the house with Katherine standing behind me. "Mom we're home!" I yelled. I looked up the stairs to find my mother glaring down at me.

My mom always loved the attention. She walked down with her long fire red hair bouncing with every step. Her blue cocktail dress covered what needed to be covered and nothing else. As she got closer, I noticed the make-up that was piled onto her already flawless skin.

When she reached the bottom, she swung her hand at me. She slapped me leaving a red handprint. A growl came out, making her eyes grow wide.

She shook her head. "I heard you killed an Alpha today Katherine." Mom was now looking at her. Fire burned in her green eyes.

"She didn't, I did!" I shouted, stepping in front my sister. I knew if Katherine got caught the only thing that, would be accepted as a punishment would be death. "I killed the Alpha. I was stupid enough to let my wolf take control of me." I looked at the ground. I felt my mother's eyes burn holes into my head.

My mom ran back upstairs, her heels made almost no noise on the stairs. She was only gone for about two minutes before she came back down the stair, an envelope in hand.

"Here." She shoved the envelope in my hands. I saw tears forming in her beautiful eyes. "There are two plane tickets to summerville south Carolina. One for you and one for your sister. As far as the wolf council knows I killed the Alpha." She said in a rush.

"Why do you have these?" My voice shook in confusion.

She put her hands on my cheeks and frowned. "You and your sister are very powerful. I had a feeling something like this would happen so I planned ahead."

Tears were now running down my own face. "No. Mom please." I begged in between gasps. Even though she was never the best parent, she was still all my sister and I had. She was still our mother.

"Shut up Jennastilya. Be the big bad wolf I raised. Go to this address." She sighed and handed me a yellow post-it note. "Take care. I love you both." She hugged me then katherine.

She put Katherine's hand in mine and pushed us towards the front door. I couldn't see her face but I could tell she was crying. I imagined her perfect make-up running down her rosy cheeks in rivers of black and tan.

Just then a loud howl came from outside. "Go now!" She yelled. I turned and picked up Kathrine. I saw the hurt in my mother's eyes and the fear that stained her face. Without a second command, I ran out the back door.

I ran as fast as I could into the woods. I stopped when I heard my mom scream in pain. My heart tore apart. I did this to my mother. I killed the only person besides Kathrine that loved me. The only person that no matter what, would be there by my side.

"Jennastilya when can we go home?" She was clinging to my body as I carried her to town.

My face showed no emotion. I had almost no more tears to shed. Our lives were changing forever and all I wanted was for my sister to be okay.

"Never." I said looking forward. "We don't have a home."
