Chapter 3, As Years Go By

About 2 years went by after Sam met my parents, we were still madly in love, I still had no contact with my mother or father, my sisters Stormi and Maddie facebook me all the time they don't let their mother know, of course, but they are planning on staying with me this summer, Maddie's about 16 now and Stormi's about 14, Maddie will be 17 in about 3 months (June 6th) its heart breaking because I haven't seen my girls in almost 3 years, oh how I missed them but honestly I didn't want them to be hurt by my choice so I gave them their space and if they wanted to talk to me then I would let them and if they had questions about what had happened 2 years ago at our family dinner then I would answer them I wouldn't keep secrets from my girls, like our mother would. I had told Sam that the girls were coming to stay with us in the summer he was okay with it we had a big enough house for them to get their own rooms and their own space maybe their own wing of the house, I'm not trying to boast or anything but me and Sam hit it rich after I published me 16th book and he started teaching at the university of Philadelphia. If Sam wanted, he could drop his job and I could've just paid for everything, but Sam has the biggest passion for teaching that I have ever seen. Honestly I'm glad he's found something he loves to do. I'm glad I get to see my girls this summer I haven't seen them in so long I'm glad Sam is okay with them staying with us.
