It's been twelve days since Jane has showed up. She says she knows not of anything before me.

Two books came today. There was a very large history book and a book on the basics of science. It's boring, but, of course, we have nothing else to do, so we read.

Ever day we chip away at the weakest wall. It's made from small bricks, but the glue that holds them together is weak. We have almost removed one brick, but I would estimate that we need to removed at least ten bricks, and I'm still not sure we could fit through then. Even if we get through, we have no way of knowing what's on the other side. It could be another cell.

But we have hope. So we keep chipping away and reading, trying to keep ourselves sane.
