Beep,beep,beep. I look at the clock to see that it's 7:10, time for school. I get up to take a shower for about 10 minutes . Then I gather my outfit for the day. I put on my favorite blue jeans , a plain black shirt , a flannel , and my white converse. I straighted my curly black hair. My mom already left for work. I grabbed my keys ready to pick up my friend Layla. Once I got to her house I blew the horn to let her know I was here. Shecame running out and she hopped in my car,Layla's the only reason I'm not going crazy right now.Then she started to speak, " I did my research , there's alotof cute guys there, who knows maybe you can find your lover there ", she raised her eyebrows playfully. I couldn't help but laugh. "Your silly Layla ,boys don't like me", I responded. "Are you kindling me ", Layla said. "You look hot right now, I would just-, I could not let her finish that sentence."Please don't finish that sentence " , " You don't even know what I was gonna say Jasmin". I rolled my eyes keeping on the road. We stay silent until we get to the school. I take a very deep breath . "Are you ready", Layla said. "No ", I answer truthfully. Let's just get this over with , I thought to myself. We get out and started to walk in.Our lockers are nowhere near each other, so we to mine first since it's closer. I started to open my locker (128),when this guy comes up and ask Layla to move. "Excuse me your in front of my locker." I turn around to see a beautiful boy with blond quiffed hair that was mostly inside his beanie . He had on the same flannel except blue. He looked down at me and smiled, I just looked confused and turned away. I continued to open my locker then grabbed 2 note books . After thatwr went to Layla's locker, she stopped and smiled at me. " Ugh, don't with that Layla.", I said . I walked to my class " Oh yeah class we have a new student." , the teacher said. " . Um go sit by uh , Luke , yes sit by Luke, please raise your hand Luke. The same boy I saw at the lockers raised his hand . With a big sigh I dropped my stuff on the table and sat down. "Not excited to sit beside me.",Luke said as he smiled. This is going to be a long day.
