I practiced my speech in front of the mirror and I got too focused on what I'm doing that I lost track of time.
I look at the wall clock.8:30 p.m.Oh no!I forgot to go to Carson's window they are already inside.I wonder if Carson noticed that I did not show up?
I went outside Olivia's room and went to Carson's room.
"I'm tired,I'm going to rest for a while.Bye Mom"I heard Carson said.
"Okay happy birthday sweetie"I heard his mom said.
The door opened and Carson came in.I held my breath.Why is he so handsome?
His blonde hair is up in a quiff and he is wearing a red shirt,checkered polo and white jeans.
He looked around and sighed.I wonder why look sad?He is happy when he left this morning.Did something happened?
He sat down on his bed and looked at the window where I always stand to welcome him when he comes home.
Now is the chance to speak to him.Go Erika!You can do this!
I was about to open my mouth to say something but Carson spoke.
"I wonder why the girl didn't show up today?Especially on my birthday.I kinda missed her"he said to himself.
Oh my god did I hear it right?He missed me!
"I'm sorry.I kind of lost track of time and I forgot to welcome you.Anyway,happy birthday!"I said.
I saw him froze then he slowly look at me At first he look like he was about to faint but after awhile he smile at me.
"It's okay.At least you're here now.I'm Carson"
He stand up and walk towards me.He took out his hand.
"I'm Erika"I smiled and we shook hands.
