A/N- It's been three months since the last chapter.

Your POV
Another ceasefire. Me and Spy were snuggling on the couch, trying to shield ourselves from the chilly fall weather. It was about 7 pm, and we were watching my favorite french movie: 'Cyrano de Bergerac.' It was almost the end of the movie, and I was tearing up at the ending.
"Why do 'ou watch this if it makes 'ou cry?" Spy asks, stroking my hair.
   "Because it's a beautiful story."
"Oui, zat it iz. Would 'ou like to watch anozer movie?"
"Sure. You choose this time." He got up, choosing a romantic comedy, and sat back down, my head in his lap. Eventually, I dozed off.

~In your dreams~

I stared at the bodies on the table. "Miss (l/n)?" The detective called to me. I sniffed.
"Y-yes. That-that's them..." Tears rolled down my cheeks, but I stayed strong, knowing my parents wouldn't want me to cry. "Miss (l/n)," he said, a look of sadness and uncertainty in his eyes, "This was found, at the scene. It... appears to be a letter for you. From your parents." I looked at the envelope. I took it from him, thanking him, and walked out the door.
Finding a bench in the park, I sat down and stared at the letter. From the handwriting, I could tell it was mother's. With shaking hands, I opened it.

   My dear (y/n),
If you're reading this, it means what me and you're father feared most has happened. You need to know, that NONE of this is your fault. Your father and I's past was bound to catch up with us at some point, we only hoped that it wouldn't involve you. Enclosed the passkey to our private bank account. Everything inside is your's now. We love you honey. Live a long and good life. Don't ever be afraid: you are strong.
                                                                                                                                                                    Love, Mom and Dad
Tears streamed down my face. Inside of the envelope, along with the letter, was a key, and a necklace. It was one of those that you could put a picture in. I opened it, and inside was a picture of me and my parents on my fifth birthday.

I couldn't stop the sobs.
~

"(Y/n)! (Y/n) mon amour, wake up!"
My eyes shot open, my face stained with tears, and more streaming down my face. Spy looked at me, concern written on his face. I didn't, no, couldn't say anything, I just buried my face into his chest, weeping.
"Shhh...It's okay, mon amour." He held me in his arms, doing his best to comfort me. Eventually, I ran out of tears to cry. "(Y/n), look at me." I looked into his blue eyes. "What 'append? One moment 'ou were sleeping peacefully, and ze next 'ou were crying." I looked away, not knowing if I was ready yet. He saw this on my face, and spoke up. "Ou do not 'ave to tell me mon amour. I just hope 'ou know zat I'm right 'ere, whenever 'ou need me."
I nodded slightly, leaning up to give him a gentle kiss. I decided it was best to go to bed, so I bid him good night.

Author's POV
Try as you might, you couldn't sleep that night, or any other for that matter. You kept having nightmares of that horrible night, and it kept you up. Eventually, your performance on the field started to whither, and after a particularly unsuccessful cart defend, Spy decided enough was enough. As you walked sleepily down the hallway, Spy pulled you into his room.

Your POV
"Spy, what are you-"
"Tell me." I stared at him.
"Tell you what?"
"What's wrong? What's keeping 'ou up at night?" I covered my tired eyes with my hands, trying to turn away from him, but he stopped me. "Mon amour, I want to 'elp. But I can't if 'ou do not tell me what's going on."

I lost it. I started sobbing, falling to the ground and curling up on myself. Spy quickly sunk with me, holding me in his arms.

"It-it's m-my parents.... When I was 17, they- they were murdered..." His eyes grew wide, and he started to rock me in his arms. "Ma tresor... desole...."
