Odell Beckham Jr.
"Is the food ready?" I asked as soon as I walked into the kitchen.
My mama was on the stove cooking up a feast. She cooked so much I thought she was cooking for the whole damn city. I'm not complaining though, more food for me. I licked my lips as the smell of delicious aroma of food hit my nose.
"Almost, but we still have to wait until your Father and Sonny gets here. Your ass acting like you haven't ate in days." Mama replied as she put the turkey on top of the stove.
Mama and Pops were divorced but they were still cordial. She wanted him over here so Mercedes can meet the whole family.
"I'm starving." I rubbed my stomach since I didn't eat breakfast this morning.
"Mama Heather are you gonna be cooking that bread pudding like you did for when the girls came over?" Malaysia looked up from her phone.
"Yeah, it's in the oven right now baby."
"It was good huh? Yeah, I know my mama can throw it down like that." I smirked cockily making her giggle.
"Of course it was good. She won't give me that recipe for nothing." Malaysia chuckled.
"Babe, Jarvis said save him a plate and the family said hello." Cedes walked in the kitchen looking like she just hopped out of the shower.
"Jarvis is the fine chocolate man who's been friends with you since college days right? He is blessed to gods." Malaysia said making Mercedes raise her eyebrows.
"That fine chocolate man has a girlfriend, which is my sister. May I add that strictly doesn't play behind hers.. to gods." Mercedes commented as I pulled her to me.
This has been happening since we've been here. Malaysia would say something and Mercedes would reply back with something smart to her. Malaysia is really an nice girl so I don't know why she's acting like that.
"Be nice Mercedes. Let's not do this today ma. This is a day to give thanks not give hands." I said whispering in her ear as she ran her fingers through my hair.
She chuckled and looked away from me. Even when she's mad she's still goofy. I turned to look at Malaysia to see why Mercedes was so intimidated by her. I had to admit, she's a beautiful woman. Those grey eyes are to die for, she has big breasts, and she's curvy. I just described the perfect girl but I have a girlfriend that I love.
"We're here! I smell food, lets eat." My father laughed coming in the kitchen, with Sonny wobbling behind.
I picked Sonny up and placed him on my lap. Everybody made their plates and sat down at the table. We said a prayer for the holiday and started eating. Mercedes was on my left and Malaysia was on my right.
"So Odell which one of these beautiful ladies are yours?" My pops chuckled.
"This one right chea'. That's my baby." I kissed Mercedes on the side of her face. She giggled and hit my leg.
"Nice to finally meet you baby, I'm Odells father. I'm shocked because you're the first girlfriend Odell has actually brought home." He stated after swallowing his cornbread.
"You don't live here." Heather mumbled after his comment.
"Same to you, I'm Mercedes." She greeted back smiling.
"And you must be Malaysia." He looked at her, "Are you and Mercedes sisters?"
Malaysia almost choked making me pat her back. She coughed again and wiped her mouth.
"Uh, no I'm on mama Heathers track team. Mercedes and I are not related." She shook her head.
"Well, you two look so much alike. I'm sorry about that. Are you sure you're not related in any kind of way? Cousins or something."
I looked back and forth at the two women sitting next to me and realized that they did look like each other.
"I don't see it." Mercedes pushed her plate forward folding her arms over her chest.
"Besides, I'm more prettier then her. No offense Cece." I dropped my fork.
"You know what, you're trying my patience and it's very low. Ever since Odell and I came here you've been playing this innocent character. I know damn well you're not innocent. But I've been letting you slide with the shade you've been throwing. I understand that you're trying to show off in front of Odell, but it's not working whilst I'm here. I'll call you up when he's a free man but right now he's not. No disrespect to you mama but I can't look at that girl." Mercedes got up and walked out the dining room.
"Well. What's for dessert?"
Mercedes Kelly
I sat up in Odells old room packing my bags as he still didn't find his way up here. I'm about ready to leave this house before I catch a charge on a pretty bitch. Women get in front of a paid nigga and they don't know how to act.
"What are you doing?" Odell said walking in the room making me roll my eyes.
"I'm building a rocket ship for Buzz Lightyear. What does it look like?" I continued to stuff clothes into my suitcase as he stopped me.
"I know she's getting on your nerves but you can't let the smallest shit get to you." Odell said grabbing my face so I could look up at him.
"Odell I don't wanna hear that."
"Nah you're about to hear this shit because you've been acting crazy since we got here. What's up with you and Malaysia?" He asked while I picked up my other bag from the floor.
"Ain't shit becaus-"
"It's something that got your crazy ass acting like you know the girl."
I sat there silent as I folded my arms over my chest. Odell sat on the bed and pulled me onto his lap while I just sat there.
"Are you afraid that I think Malaysia is better than you?" I looked at him crazy.
"No. She's cute but she's not me." I flipped my hair as he laughed.
"Then stop acting like you're intimidated by her. She's being petty and you're feeding her that energy from your noticeable ass behavior."
"I'm just ready to go."
"We're leaving tomorrow anyways. Just be cool."
"Good. I didn't think I'll survive in this house with the bitch with the fake contacts anyways."
