A/N: This is what I imagined her (Jasmine) looking like :)
The Year: 2014
Jasmine's POV
When I come to, I can't move and my eyes are shut so I can't see anything.
But I hear voices talking.
I feel cold metal against my skin.
I can smell antibacterial gel.
I taste copper in my mouth.
"Her heart is speeding up," says one voice.
"Then she's waking up," says another.
"Call the Professor," says a third.
I groan, making their frantic voices even more so in the process.
"Quickly, he said that we weren't to give her any more."
One of them starts to speak quickly to someone else, pausing every so often when the other is obviously talking. From the way that they were speaking before, it was probably the murderer Professor Davies that they were calling.
A door opens to let a very fast paced walker in. I can tell that they are in a hurry because the clacks of their shoes are like that of a clock that has been set on double times. The shoes get louder so I can only assume the wearer is walking towards me.
"How long has she been awake," he asks. Yep definitely the murderer.
"Don't know exactly, but it couldn't have been too long," voice three says.
"Good," Davies replies. His footsteps stop next to whatever I am lying on. "Hello again sweetheart."
With a thumb he pulls the lid of one of my eyes open so that I can see him. He smiles when my eye meets his.
"Get the equipment ready," he says to someone behind him, still looking at me while he talks.
"All up and running, sir," comes the first voice.
"Sorry sweetheart, this may hurt a little, but we couldn't do it while you were... asleep."
At once all the metal things suddenly go cold and produce several long metal spikes from inside of them. The professor lets go of my eye and immediately all the metal spikes go from scary but stationary to still scary but inside of me.
I scream in pain and anguish, my eyes flying open. Several foreign substances are injected into my bloodstream, I know because it feels as though my veins are going to explode from the pressure.
"Stop. Please stop," I cry.
"I told you it would hurt," Davies replies mildly.
"What are you doing to me?"
"Sterilizing. Both inside and out."
"Why me?"
"Too many questions. Bump up the dosage."
The second the next dosage hits me, and I scream even louder than before, if that was even possible. I could almost feel my cells screaming in pain as the different chemicals interacted with my body.
"Completely sterilized, professor," a new voice says.
"Perfect. Shut it down."
I moan in relief as the needles retract from my body and that the pain was over. I didn't even think that that much pain was even remotely possible.
