3. [Exo] Kai (Sad)

I can't believe you.

I can still remember clearly what happened 5 years ago.

When we were playing in the park you swore to me that you would be with me forever.

Flashback on------------

10 years ago...

"We will be together forever right (Y/N)?" Kai asked to me.

"Why I should ever be?"

"Because you are my childhood friend and my best friend!"

"I don't want to," I said before I went away from him. But then he grips my right hand tightly.

"Also it is because i like you." He whispered to me and then suddenly he kiss my cheek. And I felt my cheek colors suddenly became red.

Flashback off--------

I thought you will never break that promise.

It seems that I might have been thinking something that is wrong from the very beginning.

In the past, i didn't believe what my best friend said about you, but now I know it's true.

"He is treating you like one of his dolls! Don't you know about it (Y/N)? Someday when he already bored he would throw you away just like a doll." She said to me.

When you become a trainee. I really supported you from the behind. I often said to you to not overwork and stay healthy.

Our relationship was still the same but then when you are debuting, you became colder and distant from me.

"Why did you go away from me? Did I do something that I should not do?" I can't hold it any more than I let my anger out with asking that questions in front of you.

"It's because I have a busy routine! Don't you get it? Please understand that now I have more hectic schedule than when I was still a trainee."

Then he walked away before hearing your words, and disappear like a mist.

Oh, Kai I really miss you. Now I felt my entire world empty because you are gone from my life.

A few days later...
I walk to his agency and met him.

"What do you want? Can you be quick (Y/N), i have to go to the dance practices now."

"I just want to tell you that I am sorry for yesterday and me... i... i... i like you kai!"

"It's okay and I'm sorry to be mad at you. And yeah I like you as my best friend too! Goodbye, see you later (Y/N)."

Then he smiles at me before I can say anything he already running to his dance practices room.

I really regret the fact that I had confessed my real feelings to you.

Because you don't and won't ever recognize every tiny bit of it.

"Hey! Do you know that Kai from Exo-K already has a girlfriend?" My bestie asked me.

And then my eyes opens wide after hearing what she was saying.

Then I look at her magazine that shows pictures about Kai and another girl picture, they were holding hands and Kai was showing her the smile that I have not seen for a long time.

His natural smile that can be really warm and heats up my heart.

And then I sent him a farewell letter, hoping that he would read it. Because that is my last message to him before I went to eternal sleep.

Hey, Kai!

I want to tell you something... But if you just want to throw this letter it's okay.

Thank you for being my childhood friend and a jerk. Why? It's because you didn't realize my feelings to you. Even though it was actually really hard to me for confessing you that day.
And you just ignore my feelings.

Do you know that the day when I found the news was one month after you were debuting Kai? And that day was the first time in my life I have been hurt so bad from love.

And my heart feels so hurt, so hurt to make me knew that my heart only belongs to you.

Thanks to you, now I learned that I couldn't trust something that illogical because it really hurts but sometimes it can be so sweet, and that is what we called love.

Now goodbye and we never meet again is the best phrase that I'm going to say to you.

If you already finish reading this letter that means that I already went to a place that you couldn't reach.

And I personally hope that you can just forget all of our relationship as the childhood friend.

I run as fast as I can to his dormitory. And then when I arrived I saw Kai in the front of his dormitory door.

I am walking closer to him and give him the letter. When he saw me he gives me the same usual smile that very different from what that girl received.

"What is this (Y/N)?" He raised his brow.

"A letter, please read it tomorrow okay! And congrats on your new girlfriend." Then I fake a smile to him,
And I run away as fast as I can.

"Girlfriend, you mean the one in the news? It is just a gossip. I have never ever gone out with her." He said to me as he closed his eyes.

"Liar ... Have you kissed her aren't you? Oh, i have to go now goodbye Kai."

"Wait!" He said but I ran as fast as I could.

I can't believe about what he said to me earlier. But now it doesn't matter to me anymore.

I arrived on the front of the street and as I can see there are some cars.

But before I can walk across to the road, I feel someone took my hand and grip it tightly like the person doesn't want to let me go and that make me wants to look at behind.

I don't want to keep my hopes up by thinking that person is Kai.

When I take a look on behind. I can see Kai's faces then he embraces me.

"Don't leave (Y/N), I can't live without you."

Before I can say anything, he moves closer and steals my first kiss gently and passionately.

"I love you (Y/N) will you be my girlfriend?" He asks after kissing my lips.
