"SANS, WHERE IS OUR HOUSEGUEST?" Papyrus called from the living room. He had exited his bedroom to find that Burgerpants was not sleeping on the couch.
For a month or so now, Burgerpants would occasionally sleep over at the skeleton brothers' house for a day or two at a time. Papyrus had protested to Sans about this initially, but quickly came to love the cat. Burgerpants would usually sleep on the couch, but this morning he was missing.
Papyrus entered Sans' room, hands on his hips. "SANS! I CAN'T- OH."
Burgerpants and Sans were snuggled under the covers of Sans' bed, arms around each other as they slept. Burgerpants was purring rather loudly, his face nuzzled into the crook of Sans' neck. Papyrus' loud voice must have woken them, as they both lifted their heads and blinked at Papyrus.
"I GUESS IT MUST HAVE BEEN COLD LAST NIGHT," Papyrus said after a moment, his innocent mind regarding their cuddling as platonic. "I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CAN STAND THE SMELL, THOUGH," he added, the comment directed at Sans. He stepped out and closed the door again.

Sans and Burgerpants looked at each other, both equally puzzled. After a moment Burgerpants called, "Papyrus, can I have spaghetti for breakfast?"
"THERE'S ALREADY A PLATE FOR YOU ON THE TABLE! NYEH HEH HEH!!!"
